Remains to be a good hotel

I staid her for the second time within a year. The Hilton remains to be a good hotel at global standards with very nice rooms.
If you are on one of the top floors you will enjoy a great view. Ideally you face the harbor side as it is nicer than the city view which is actually blocked by other high rises.
English language skills of the staff improved over the last 12 months which makes communciation much easier.
Wifi remains a big problem when you try to access google, social media pages or establish a VPN connection. One of the general problems in China.
I tried the restaurant in the hotel (The Square) on a Sunday evening. The buffet was very nice with a broad range of dishes, hence worth a try.
In case you want to use the indoor pool, please bring a bathing cap as this is mandatory. I don't recall having seen this anywhere in the western world.
While the hotel is nicely and quitely located at the harbor, opposite of the impressive International Convention Center, it is a bid far off the city center. If you want a lively environment in walking distance then take a hotel near Zhongshan Square.
If you are HH member and at one of the top floor you have access to the lounge on 25th floor. It offers a spectacular view towards north and west. The lounge was allways empty when I went there in the evening or in the morning. Maybe this is due to the fact that they only serve soft drinks and some sort of snacks in the morning (no full breakfast).

I stayed for about a week and I was impressed. Excellent room, fantastic breakfast and dinner buffet. Good service and great value for money. Just across the road from Dalian Expo Centre. Many staff are very helpful, polite and efficient. I would in particular mention Mr. Gajendra Sharma, Director of Operations, who went out of his way to help. SALUTE!

Team is great and is always willing to help and solve problems (although several of them don't speak a good English), structure is top and new, restaurante are very good and delicous food. Really recommend!

Booked two rooms and one of the rooms( Room 1360) had toilet flush issue and complained thrice as the toilet even with more than 10 flushes, still did not do its job.
The other room was excellent with all comforts.
Executive Lounge is top notch and staff very helpful.
Breakfast in the coffee shop also had good selections and service oriented staff.
Management staff was visible all over,with eyes and ears to any matter that may arise.
Impressed in general and will stay in this hotel again when in Dalian as this is an excellent property.

The hotel is very comfortable with nice rooms. The location on the water side is very interesting at the summer and winter season. In few minutes with the taxi you can go to the city. This hotel is perfect for business
