  Really nice hotel over looking the Yangtze river. Gorgeous room with very comfortable bed. I've definitely had better breakfasts and it was 90% Chinese food. My biggest gripe was when I ordered an expensive glass of whisky and it was served in a shot glass. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

  Stayed August 4th til August 9th, 5 nights
  The good:
  Where do I begin. This place is simply under rated. The Hilton site rates this as a Level 2 hotel within Doubletree. I rate it as a Level 4+. It is outstanding.
  From the moment I arrived until the time I left it was a great experience. People are the success or failure of any business. With the staff here, they are bound for on-going success. Every single member of the team could not do enough to make the stay as pleasant an experience as possible. I never saw another Westerner the whole 5 days I was here so I was the target for them to practice their English and I loved it.
  I was located on the 21st floor and my room had panoramic views over the Mighty Yangtse River. It was fascinating being able to see a working river go through its daily routine.
  The room was spacious, the king bed amazing, the bathroom had a bath as well as a separate lavatory and separate shower recess. It had a rain-shower or normal option. I give special mention to my friends from house keeping. They never missed a beat, everyday, fresh linens, ample coffee and milk. No rations here. The room was immaculate. The air-conditioning worked a treat which was needed because it was very hot outside at this time of year.
  I enjoyed the breakfast every day. Wow. The selection was out of this world. As the only Westerner, the team could not do enough for me to make sure everything was just right. After the first morning, I didn't even have to order, they remembered. The variety included some very weird Chinese delicacies, if I was a bit more brave I might have tried ha ha, but I stayed with the western style of cereals, eggs, fruit, coffee.
  The Executive Lounge on Level 21 was closed, not sure why, but was able to enjoy the hospitality in the Lobby Lounge with a great selection of beers and wines.
  Back to the service, special mention to Benny, he's the Operations Manager and it is understandable why this hotel is so well managed. The restaurant manager was brilliant. Guest Services were impeccable. One evening I had an issue with the Internet connection ( 11pm at night ). I asked if someone could look at it and within 15 minutes it was sorted. There was no problem with people not being available. It was all about pleasing the guest and getting it done ( take note Hilton JFK ).
  The hotel is located across the road from the riverfront and there is a very long promenade for an evening walk. The locals of Wanzhou seem to congregate along the front every night in the cool of the evening. There are 50 or 60 restaurants along the waterfront as well. And directly opposite is the "Wanda Plaza", a vast shopping centre with loads of restaurants and shops. But get in before 9.00pm at night, everything closes around then.
  The not so good:
  If I had to pick one thing it would be the wi-fi. The speed was unstable. It was an issue for me because I was trying to conduct business in between touring. However, I don't think this is a hotel thing, it's more to do with the country.
  Overview:
  This is an outstanding hotel. The staff are exceptional and totally focussed on making the guests welcome.They are so friendly, always smiling and I am sad to leave. I know I will be back. Location is excellent, variety of food both within the hotel and outside is incredible. Keep up the great work!
  Would I stay again?
  I look forward to the day I am back in Wanzhou. The first call I will make is to Doubletree. It's better than most other Hilton branded hotels I have stayed in.
  Would I recommend?
  Very highly. Without a doubt.

  Stayed here for just one night after arriving from Guillin to board a Yangtze cruise boat at the Three Gorges ferry terminal which is just a short short drive away. Very smart modern hotel.15th floor room was well equipped and with a very comfortable bed as well as a quite luxurious bathroom. The only downside was a carpet that was a little dirty.
  The hotel is surrounded by brownfield sites, However I am sure the views of the city are great from the higher floors. Unfortunately the fog during our stay meant we could only view grey outlines.
  Set dinner was very good, as was the service. Buffet breakfast was superb with a tremendous choice of food albeit in a very crowded restaurant.
  There is a small supermarket opposite the entrance with most essentials available.
  All in all a very pleasant overnight stay

  I have been to many countries, many city, I will choose the Hilton brand, service. Service industry, customer is God, this view is never changed, for your hotel service and function of various facilities, I feel very satisfied, a small city in the south of Hilton, cognition to the brand is expensive. However, walked into the Hilton Hotel, humanity will make people feel the service lets the customer feel warm, feel at home, with your hotel close cookies, give you a feeling is running in the city, find a safe harbour. In the Spring Festival approaching outside the law I, for the last time in your hotel of the lunar new year, I feel very satisfied.

  The hotel's Location is near Wanda Plaza, shopping, dining, and transportation is very convenient, the hotel was renovated, it is very new and clean, the price is very reasonable, and I am very satisfied
