  This hotel does not fail to impress. It is spacious. It's atrium is surrounded by the bedrooms then corridors go off from that area to other guest rooms. The rooms themselves, well ours had two doubles a ceiling to floor window, a desk/ work area, a chaise long, it was very spacious. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower, plus all toiletries, including moisturiser. Could not have needed anything more, except free WiFi , only free in lobby.
  We used the Hotel bar, which was opened on our request, there were 5 of us only, no service charge here, that is something you need to be aware of in hotels in China, as it does increase the price of your drink dramatically. Again here the decor and furnishings were very modern and stylish, I loved it.
  The restaurant serves all meals and this too is very opulent, it has large chairs/sofas in plush velvet and silver trims, a window across one side which looks out over the gardens and pool. Breakfast was very varied and would appeal to all tastes, your coffee/tea is filled up repeatedly.
  The hotel is near food shops restaurants and other retail outlets, literally over the road.

  This property is very close to Dazu city center in a modern and comfortable hotel. Do not let Chongqing west believe that it is in Chongqing big city but as being in Congqing county and about 100 kilometers west to Chongqing city. I prefer to define it as Dazu Ramada Plaza Hotel. The instructions in the room are in English as well. Big bedroom and big bathroom. There are sufficient electricity wall connectors. Modern furniture. Iron and ironing base. Free WiFi in the room. If you take the laundry bag it will cost you 30 Yuan, in 2015. My room was 710 and I was pleased. Maybe other rooms are same. The only point to be improved is lack of sufficient toasters in breakfast since only one unit was there. I would define the hotel degree closer to 5 stars. Verry recommended when your destination is Dazu and the rock carvings. The best rock carvings are in Baodanshan rathe than rock carvings in Beishan.

  Before you begin confirm that the hotel is located where you expect it. About 2 hours in a mini bus from the airport this hotel is a great base to explore the dazu rock carvings.
  My room was gorgeous with spotless bathro, crisp bedding, lovely robes, etc. Plenty of plug points water replenished regularly comfy bed loads of pillow choice. Decent products in the bathroom.
  The reception staff had basic English: well above average.
  I ate from the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was mostly Chinese: pretty hot and to local taste. There was toast and mini Danish for breakfast and normally one western inspired dish in the buffet. Buffet came with local beer or wine.
  The pool was open from 4:30. During my 3 day stay I was the only person I saw in it. It seemed very clean and well maintained and they sold costumes on the way in.
  Only snag was on busy days room service came a bit late and reception checked my key card out before I was due to leave but this was sorted in minutes.
  Not much to do locally other than visit the carvings and museum these are must see destinations. There is a town square to walk to and you can walk alongside the river from near the roundabout with the statues of sturdy men and women. The area felt very safe to walk around
  I felt totally relaxed here a great choice if you are visiting the rock carvings.

  Large, modern, clean, comfortable, quiet. Climate control in room works as does wifi. Huge bathroom with both large shower and tub, luxurious towels. The only reason this didn't get an excellent rating was the breakfast selection was more limited than other top hotels and the staff were not fluent in English which makes non-Chinese speakers like me struggle to get a dinner menu. (Don't get on my case about "When in China -," as I believe most of those reading my reviews in English will be Western tourists facing the same difficulties while traveling.)

  Excellent all round.
  After a few disapointing hotels this was a gem.
  Staff were excellent and very helpful, the manager took the time to show us around and his english was excellent, loby and room were very impressive, breakfast was the best we had in 2 weeks in China.
  The buffet in the evening was tremendous value at less than £10 per head, vast choice and excellent taste, it was an all you can eat, incuding wine and beer.
  The address is misleading, it's one and half hours outside of Chongging in Dazu.
