  This hotel is OK but nothing spectacular. The rooms are large and comfortable and the breakfast is good. The air conditioning in my room was poor and consequently the room was stuffy. The view onto a flat roof (covered in trash) wasn't too great either.

  Days hotel and suites hilsun Chongqing. Nice hotel and quite big rooms. Breakfast have many choises. Shopping center near of hotel. Some restaurants can be found from shopping center. Airport really near, about 5-10 minutes by taxi. Good hotel.

  This hotel building is opulent (5 star +), quite a surprise - worth a visit if only just to see, and the room was large well equipped, nice bed and pillows, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The reception staff were excellent spoke good english and booked the outgoing transfer to the airport efficiently.
  But I tried to book the ingoing transfer through the booking agent who replied it was late at night when they rang and that there was no-one who could book the transfer. They suggested I ring the hotel direct. So I tried an email (x2) with no reply. On arrival there was no doorman or staff to transfer luggage.
  Spectacular hotel with poor guest management.

  Situated next to the airport and next to a massive shopping centre, it's not exactly an oasis of calm but, having said that, it was peaceful enough. I had a room on the 10th floor - the VIP area apparently but it was very reasonably priced. The room was big, without being spacious, and very well appointed. The TV was state of the art (there was even one in the bathroom), the bed was large and comfortable but perhaps the tour de force was the electric toilet, which washes, dries and deodorises you!
  One very bizarre oddity - when I opened the curtains, I was presented with a wall!

• STOLEN ITEMS FROM ROOM

  My company of 25 people stayed recently at the hotel for 5 days 4 nights. During this time, i noticed that someone came into my room during the day after cleaning was done. It felt as though there was a secret camera in my room, and seemed to know when the room was empty and came in again and again, and things were changed in the room to make it noticeable. At first i thought it was nice to continue to make the settings changed, layout a towel on floor for usage or slipppers pulled out for wear. Yet by the last evening. I brought in gifts to the room to take home, and stepped out for dinner, and during that time the items were stolen from my room. It was gift wrapped items, 5 of them in a company bag, and thought i had packed them as i was gathering my things to go back home, but in reality, it was taken from my room, the whole bag was gone. I initially left it somewhere so that most likely i will see them to pack them, but when i returned, they were gone. It was unbelievable, and could not imagine such service go down the drain. My company people want to stay here again as its close to our vendor as well as airport, and food places closeby, but with this type of raunchy service, i will think twice before staying there again. Thank God it was not expensive gifts, but the thought of someone coming into your room many more times than necessary, long after the cleaning of the room has been provided, then its an untrusty situation and the hotel staff has definitely proven so when stealing my gifts from my room.
