Fantastic place to be

This was my first trip to Chongqing and I stayed at the Le-Meridien for 9 days. It is a fantastic hotel. The room was a great blend of modern luxury and Asian charm. The lobby is one of the nicest I have seen anywhere. The staff was very friendly and attentative and the GM personally greeted me and asked regularly if everything was to my satisfaction. The main restaurant offers a great variety of foods (buffet style) and I had dinner there on several occasions which was great. Had breakfasts at the Le-Meridien club lounge on the 22nd floor. Very nice food and super friendly staff. They seem to have kept a record of what I had before as the staff knew what I wanted before I even asked. The facilities are good including pool and gym. Overall a fantastic place to be and I highly recommend the Le-Meridien. It is a bit outside the city centre but several malls are nearby and it is only a quick taxt ride from the main centre. Top marks from me.

I only got to stay one night in the hotel, the hotel's facilities were great and rooms were comfortable and large. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel's location was close to a broad variety of shops and restaurants.
The lobby area is beautifully designed and with a great bar area to relax in.

Absolutely met my expectations and more. Thrilled when I walked in. Massive foyer area. Huge marble walls and massive crystal chandelier. The decor is very impressive and the whole interior almost a work of art. All English speaking reception staff and very attentive.
Fast elevator to my room. Wonderful spacious room. Stunning. Separate bathroom with a glass wall to see straight out your bedroom window. Bed amazing, huge, comfortable, pillows fantastic.
Very clean and modern. No complaints at all from me. Close to all the shops and things you need. I'd stay here, again and again. The best breakfast was from here. More variety and fresh! I loved this hotel. Glad to have stayed here.

Great check-in. Room was excellent. Lovely and clean with a shower and bath. The bed was great after the hard beds at some of the hotels we have stay at. The foyer was very impressive. Breakfast lots of variety. Enjoyed our stay here. Good pool. Free wi fi in room.
Unexpected in a city of chaos

This was my second time in CQ and the first in this hotel. I am a SPG gold member and always use Starwood properties. Some are great and some are acceptable but this hotel certainly surprised me. Great flair and ambience. Good vibe and most importantly clean and uncomplicated.
Was previously staying at another Starwood property in CQ but Meridien is much better in my opinion as a seasoned traveller.
