I stayed here for 2 nights on 20th June. Went from Manila to Chongqing for a biz trip.

The location is great, right in the biz and shopping area of Chongqing. The staffs were welcoming, right from checking in receptionist, to the cleaners in the room. The best is from the breakfast lounge, the waitresses are fantastic, very friendly and checking with us for anything we need. The room is specious and the kitchen is fully equipped if anyone wishes to cook a meal.

Congrats to the management for having such a great team of staffs here.

A clean, well kept hotel, with spacious rooms and good room service. Within walking distance of numerous CBD attractions in Jie Fang Bei. Friendly staff and huge lounge with pool table and soccer table.

Best choice for family to stay in Chongqing

We got the free upgraded suite when arrived and very appreciated for their warmth and hospitality. The suite was great, well-facilitated and spacious. The location is also great, very close to sightseeing and pedestrian street.

Good location but old hotel

Checked in Somerset for 6 days ! Hidden in one building and took us awhile to find. Room seem old . Room size is ok but I’m surprised the reception don’t take USD as deposit! Aircon is down and they sent us a portable aircon in the room! Location is good and few mins Walk to all resturants and Famous sightseeing. Will not come back again

Thank you for staying with Somerset and taking time giving us evaluable feedback on our services and facilities. Despite our prime location adjacent to the busiest district of Chongqing, privacy of residents is still one of our top priorities hence the lack of a fancy lobby that attracts swarms of tourists which could compromise the home feeling.

As serviced apartment, we can only take CNY in cash according to local regulations. Meanwhile, most of the international debit/credit cards can both be used for deposit or billing.

Aircon was in a low running mode due to the temperature fluctuation during your stay. As it is centralized, we strived to accommodate to the most common needs of all guests hence the complimentary add-on portable fan. We are sorry that the room temperature was not up to your most comfortable standard. Your valuable has been well acknowledged and we shall enhance our servies on this matter.

We would hate to see you go with dissatisfaction and unsettled sentiments. Yet, we hope you did enjoy your trip in Chongqing, this vibrant and fast-growing city!

Excellent location. All kinds of restaurants, street side food stalls, shopping malls, banks, tourist interest places, taxis, bus stop, metro station all within walking distance.
Nice well lit and spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows. Air conditioning was sluggish. Good and well maintained amenities like fridge, microwave, washing machine, stove, toaster, cutlery etc.
