• A great choice in South Chengdu

  Stayed here for one night, had a truly enormous room, the shower room alone was large, a suite comprised of a sitting room with its own bathroom and desk with a tv. Then, connected by a hallway with closets, the king bedroom with large windows providing a bright if avenue view outside. Windows are sloped and so get dirty fast and could do with a cleaning. The staff are helpful, Internet worked as well as any internet in China. Located near the hi-tech zone of Metro line 1 and the shopping of the nearby mall. The buffet restaurant does a decent evening meal, but the breakfast suffers some notable lapses. Lobby bar is convenient and a good place to relax with a tea or a cocktail. If you need to be in the southern part of Chengdu, this is a great base of operations. I did not have issues with the staff not speaking English, all I encountered spoke sufficient English.

  This hotel is not close to city center, but convenient not to far from airport and in business district. Hotel offers everything you need, with a great simple gym and sauna. I'm sure I will choose this one again when I'm around.

  Great service, very efficient front desk staff at both check in and checkout which was very early morning. Well designed rooms, spacious and comfortable interiors. Did not have time to try restaurants, but did visit the gym.

  Stayed for 3 nights, good locations, few hiccups though, staff speaks very little English (besides the American student doing the breakfast service)
  The best attributes of the hotel have to be the spacious rooms and large bathrooms, quick and very efficient laundry service, high tech by all means and large cabinets, love the working desk.
  The pool was fantastic and large, though the gym was a complete let down for a hotel of this size, too small and limited in equipments, three people and it was a crowd!
  Water they only give one 330ml at a time at the gym! have to constantly asked!
  On the first afternoon, went to the bar and ordered beers, three choices were out of stock, which is rather disturbing, as this should not happened. Average wine lists and pricey.
  The inhouse bakery / pastisserie was ok, good spread of cakes, but was not really fresh.
  Breakfast was very average when looking at the quality of cold cuts, charcuterie and smoked fish, it was not good in fact. Yoghurt was a rather thin and insipid.
  The other choices was ok, not as good as in Hong Kong or Shenzhen for similar hotel type.
  The hot station was average, some days was good, the beef stock with noodles and vegetables was very good. "Breakfast Dim Sum" were average.
  Green tea, takes for ever to be made and usually there is no cutlery on the table, at breakfast time, napkin was an ordinary paper serviette, and as soon as a course get cleared they never refreshed the cutlery.
  Taxi service from the concierge was very good and efficient.
  There are good restaurant within walking distance, very good noodles bars, but avoid downtown, no one speaks English and the food are rather unpalatable!
  The kind of hotel one stays, if you need a bed only!

  Sadly, they no longer do the dim sum buffet at this hotel but it was great the day I tried it. We ate with three other friends. The food was great and the service impeccable. There was a range of well cooked and beautifully presented dishes - all enjoyed by the ravenous lunch party. Will try out the buffet at the other restaurant sometime.
