Good location, no problem for non-Chinese

Sydney, Australia | May 5, 2025We stayed here for 4 days. We don't speak Chinese but as with the rest of our visit here, with a little planning & a few print-outs and games of charades, we were fine!
They let us keep our bags at the hotel for 2 days when we went on a little trip. We came back and stayed another two
The hotel is located walking distance from the main 'square', a metro stop and Peoples Park. Rooms are small ( as are most biz hotels such as this) but clean and functional. Extra pillows was no problem.
Yes, there is the 'hum' of the traffic but earplugs fixes that.
All in all, although not a work of English is spoken, (& almost zero Chinese from me), I would stay again. -
Surprisingly Nice Room.

Hong Kong, China | Aug 24, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyMy first time staying at this chain, and I was pleasantly surprised. Very clean, well appointed room. Free internet with an additional plug in the bathroom. Fairly convenient, within walking distance to Tianfu Square and Kuanzhai Xiangzi.
Only complain is the tardiness of breakfast. Despite its posted 7a starting time, food was never readied until 7:20a or so for the few days we stayed there. -
What a nightmare!

Yangshuo | Oct 29, 2025We chose this hotel after reading previous review and we had a Terrible surprise (and unfortunetly had booked it for 4 nights)! We were greeted in our room everyday by 2 cards of explicites escorts adds. The cards were not necessary has we could meet the escorts sitting in the lobby with their pimp! Also the room was very small,we could hardly fit our bags. There was the hardest bed possible in China! Not to mention that front desk people were not too friendly. No wifi in the room. The place could be cleaner. Although the location is not too bad;

Decent Chinese motel-style hotel, but...

Aachen | Feb 5, 2025 | Trip type: Solo travel... not suited for waiguoren (non Chinese people)
Since this hotel was listed as good-value-for-money hotel with at least one positive review from a western reviewer, I booked 2 days in this hotel.I left after the first night...
The hotel staff was very friendly, but their English skills were very bad, so I had to talk with them using my basic Chinese. Neither Visa nor Mastercard were accepted, so I had to pay 600 RMB deposit in cash.
The location is very near to Tianfu square directly loaced next to a 8-lane high-traffic road. I had a single room and it was _very_ small. No chance to store my luggage not using the wardrobe. The room was clean, although I felt like using flip-flops in the shower.
The window were very badly isolated, so you perfectly could hear the 8-lane road and especially enjoy the exhaust gases of the cars :-(. Due to the bad isolation, the room was really cold. The aircon was on maximum-heat mode, but it only was warm at the ceiling of the room. At the bed it was so cold that I had a second blanket brought to my room.
No Wifi, but free internet and cable were provided. Since I'm not a Chinese breakfast fan, I skipped it.
