New York City, New York | Sep 8, 2025The Millennium in Chengdu is truly amazing, for the foreign business traveler it's such a treat. Great food service with lots of options especially for breakfast. The rooms are top tier quality but very reasonably priced. The Millennium Hotels in China are in an upper tier from the Millennium Hotels in the US. The rooms are designed with great detail, with recess lighting that turn on and off depending on how you move at night. My only regret is that I couldn't spend more time in the hotel during my business trip. My favorite place to stay in Chengdu for sure.

May 23, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessWe were in Chengdu during the annual wine exhibition and stayed in Millennium. Breakfast was OK but too many guests crowded in a small restaurant. Room was euipped with everything you need for business and pleasure. The bed was superb. The hotel staff We met were generally friendly and helpful. The Concierge helped us to move in and out our red wine samples. English is an issue.Not too many staff could speak fluent English.I hope It would be improved. The park and walking street are a plus to this hotel as you Can relax for a walk or something. Both Chinese and western restaurants were within easy walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel to people who like the serenity and comfort.

It is very much what you would expect from a 4 star chain hotel. Excellent facilities, pleasant and helpful staff and a reasonably hassle free stay. As others have noted it is next to Starbacks and a short walk to the nearest subway station Shenxianshu on Line 7.
There is a lovely park right opposite the hotel where you can see people exercising each day. Try to get a room overlooking this park.
Although on a reasonably busy road, my room on the 10th floor was perfectly quiet.
The staff speak English, although one of two staff did struggle to understand my accent at times. I ate in the restaurant for breakfast only once and there was a good mixture of Chinese and Western food, although with much more variety on local food as you would expect.
If you have business in this part of Chengdu - which is some way from the city center - I would recommend this place. -
