This time round they even went all the way to look for the driver whom I engaged at chengdu domestic airport cheated on me and didn’t return me my RMB 83 change. Beside that I came in midnight tired and hungry and the only way was to order food delivery as I didn’t have a china bank account the reception did the order and paid on my behalf. The F&B staff ALEX was equally honest when my friend asked for wine he didn’t recommended us but not that he is not doing his job but he was just being honest knowing the preference of our liking.
Unfortunately, this hotel will be taken over by intercontinental group by end of this year. I do hope that my next visit will still be as good. -
Excellent place to stay in Chengdu

Shanghai, China | Oct 23, 2025The Fraser Suites are more like one bed apartments than hotel rooms. Very well appointed with comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, walk in closet area and kitchen units if you do not wish to eat out. Breakfast plentiful with a large choice or western or Asian food. Staff very helpful and greet guests with a smile (always a good thing for a hotel). Situated close to Tianfu Square (tbh not too much to see there but lit up at night) the local area does not have too much to offer except numerous eating establishments to match all budgets. The hotel is though very close to Jinjiang Hotel metro stop through which you can access most of the attractions easily and cheaply (taxis are also plentiful and not expensive if you prefer door to door service). The Panda sanctuary is approx a half hour taxi ride away and the front desk will book for you if required. We paid 60 yuan each way but you can get the journey for half this price if you really haggle! Really enjoyed our stay in Chengdu and really loved staying in the Fraser Suites.

English is spoken though limited, staff is friendly and happy to help with queries. -

The room is a great choice for business and tourist visitors. It have semi kitchen and washing machine. The check in check out process was very fast. It was a great experience definitely i will come again. By the way the-area is safe. For muslims there is HALAL food 20 mins walking from hotel
