• Perfect for stay in wujin area

  Stay in horizon club room at 16 floor. Room was a typical shangri-la room.
  The japanese restaurant is perfect. I week stay but always too late to try the shang palace.
  On the 3 floor you can find the pool and gymnasium. Early in the morning the pool is empty, perfect to start the day.

  Stays here at least 3 times every month on business trips. Very friendly staff and attentive to details. Staying here is no brainier as I couldn't ask for anything better. Only drawback is the location, as it is away from the shopping and restaurants. Hotel offers free shuttle service.

  I stayed at the Shangri-La in Changzhou this past week and it was the best experience in over 25 years of travel. It started with the greatings and smiling faces of every staff person from the moment we stepped out of the cab to the moment we left in a cab. I was half way around the world on business, in a new country, and our second day it was my birthday. I woke up to the entiere staff greeting me by my name and wishing me a happy birthday. Not only did they greet me, but when we returmed from work that day they had the kitchen bake me a cake and presented me with a wonderful cake and a card signed by the staff. It didn't end there they still addressed me the rest of my stay in the days to come. Being half way around the world and in a new country on my birthday I felt like home. To top it off it wasn't just myself that felt this way. Everyone staying at the hotel from our company felt just the same, special. Thanks to Dora, Sunny, Katherine, Alisa and the in entire staff at the Shangri-La CHangzhou. The best hotel experience i have ever experienced!

  The hotel is centrally located with good transport connectivity.Hotel has nice, clean and spacious rooms. with english speaking staff. Accepts USD and all international Credit Cards. Nice site seeing options at Hotel Travel Desk
  It has good buffe breakfast with good continental and chinese stuff. Has well maintained Health Centre.

  We booked two rooms and being a Golden Circle Diamond member, we were upgraded to the Horizon Club Floor. The rooms are spacious, quiet and clean - hallmarks of the Shangri-la Group. Staff at the Horizon Club Lounge, viz Ashley Han, Cindy Liu and Missy Liu are helpful, friendly and considerate. Their services were commendable and I have no hesitation in coming back to Shangri-la Changzhou again. We came to Changzhou to spend a weekend celebrating the second birthday of my godson Doedoe and we had a great time. Doedoe was visibly excited and together with him we had a great time.
  We had breakfast at the Cafe on the ground floor and service standard there is below par, with staff clearly lacking in basic personal skills and in need of further training. We had dinner at the Shang Palace and again service standard here was lacking, with us having to wait for nearly 30 minutes for rice (after all the dishes were served). The reason? It's just being cooked, which I found bizarre. So be prepared to put up with some nonsense on the ground floor.
  There is a fairly well sized lake surrounding part of the hotel, making the environs tranquil and idyllic for a holiday break.
  Overall, this is an excellent five star property and the gym and recreational facilities are modern and spacious. Bring along your gear!
