Transit
Nelia P
Leamington Spa | Apr 14, 2025This massive hotel appeared too quiet when we arrived together with other transit passengers which i later on observed to be very busy. It has a transport to and from the airport which is a 20-30 minutes away. I actually preferred a hotel with shops nearby but we had no choice.
Anyway, it has a small shop and a restaurant. I am not aware of the room price cos our one night stay was paid for. The stuff they sell are at a good price and the food was satisfactory although i noticed that most of the customers did not finish the food they ordered but we did...we liked what we ordered. A staff knowing how to speak English would be very helpful to it being an international hotel. We somehow managed to communicate with the staff especially in the resto with a few laughs and smiles on the side.
The two rooms we were given was NOT a non smoking room, i wonder if all rooms were the same. So both rooms smelled of cigarette.
The beds were quite hard but it did not matter for tired customers like us.
Service is quick and friendly.
If i were to travel to Beijing for pleasure, i would stay in a hotel near the tourist spots or shops. This hotel is like isolated if i am not mistaken. -
Transit from Hong Kong to Seoul

Hong Kong, China | Apr 7, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyWe booked air ticket from Hong Kong to Seoul for short vacation. Air China offered us a transit hotel. When we arrive at Beijing midnight. We went to the arrival hall and there was a Air China transit counter. The staff gave us a badge and we waited for 30 minutes. They brought us with others to a bus to the hotel. No deposit was charged. The room is clean and big. They offered free breakfast in Beijing style. We only ate egg and drink soya milk. They then brought me to a bus back to the airport in the morning.

Decent airport hotel

Da Nang, Vietnam | Jan 12, 2026 | Trip type: Solo travelI'm surprised at the number of negative reviews this place got. I was put up here for a long transit with Air China and in my experience, the room was spacious and clean with WIFI, the mostly Chinese style buffet breakfast had more than enough options, the lobby was full of bling bling, definitely clean and didn't have any cig smell, the staff didn't speak English that well but I always managed to talk to someone that does in the end.
Shuttle to airport leaves every half or every hour, depending on the time of the day. It only takes 10-15 minutes to reach the airport. From the airport back, if the shuttle makes a stop at terminal 1 or 2 then it can take a while, up to 45 minutes to the hotel. -
Short transit

Hong Kong, China | Jan 22, 2026 | Trip type: BusinessMy friend and I stayed in this transit hotel for a few hours during midnight because of flight delay and related matters. It took us quite long to take a shuttle of Air China from Terminal 3 to the hotel.
The hotel looks big but the room looks tired. The facilities inside the room look old and the amenities are below par as well. Nevertheless, there is a free Wi-Fi.
I cannot say the hotel is bad but it is not good though. Be honest, I would prefer to pay by myself to stay in Hilton Beijing International Airport rather than stay in this complimentary transit hotel. -
1 Night Overstay
Jeannie M
Jan 6, 2026 | Trip type: FamilyWe had to stay overnight in Beijing as Air China cancelled our flight from Bangkok with no notice. To get any help from Air China we had to wait 7+ hours at the Bangkok airport before an Air China representative showed up. As there were 3 in our party we were assignd a triple room. The size of the room is spacious, bathroom is a fair size however there was rust and mildew in the shower, The reception and common area had a strong cigarette smelll, it was also noticeable in the hallway and room. The beds are hard it was like sleeping on plywood, pillows are flat and AC did not work. TV reception was poor and impossible to hook up to wifi. Complimentary supper and breakfast was marginal. Front reception spoke minimal to no English making it very difficult to communicate. If required to overnight again I would pay for a room before staying here.
