Boutique Hotel in good location
Cynthia L
Aug 23, 2025Location is great, walking distance to shopping centres, underground train and surrounded by multiple massage joints.
The hotel room condition is fairly good, clean, modern and simple. Bathroom is modern with rain shower.
Not much luxury however, good for a business stay as it is convenient. -
Great room and location, but still 'becoming' international
Frade
Canberra, Australia | Jul 1, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI really enjoyed my stay here. The location was great for my purposes (in the embassy district), and the hotel staff were extremely helpful.
My room was one of the renovated rooms (for westerners). Heaps of space and great amenities.
The only two downsides, currently, are that the meals are clearly catered for a largely domestic clientele. There's a few western items on the menu, though rather poorly executed. I was a little surprised at this, because this hotel is in the embassy district and directly opposite the Canadian Embassy... I would have expected a bit more variety. I enjoy trying new foods in new countries, but sometimes I just want something standard that I expect from the kitchen of an international hotel.
The other downside was that most of the staff on the front desk had only limited english skills. Again, surprising given the hotel's location. Don't get me wrong, they were all extremely helpful and pleasant, and we were able to resolve all of my questions. But I was just a bit surprised that they didn't have better language skills here.
My stay was both enjoyable and productive. -
Clean hotel and Convenient location next to Embassies area
dmitryegorov2005
Hong Kong | Mar 17, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessAdvantage of this hotel is close location walking distance to many foreign embassies in Beijing. Rooms look brand new and very clean.
Disadvantages are very poor internet connection (it says wi-fi connection but actual connection is next to none - not able any internet page even showing good signal), no in-room service (no restaurant in this small hotel) and unfortunately breakfast is not good. Advised to go out for any food.
Not far from hotel you may find some places to have the food.
another convenience is it is quite close to highway and airport. It took me only 20-25 min each way and about RMB 70-80 per trip (night time and day time).
Hotel is convenient and okay for 1 night short stand to visit the Embassies and Consulates area. If you come with family and look for sightseeing please chose another location more convenient for that purpose. -
Pretty run down
Salamano
Hamburg, Germany | Dec 22, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI found this Hotel pretty run down. Some people mentioned new rooms, I wonder where they hid them from us!?! Seriously the rooms were not new. To the contrary. Carpet showed a long history of stains, shower head sprayed water in all directions because it was broke and due to calcification, my room had the lowest energy-saving bulb quality, so I actually couldn't really see things clear in my room for the leaden, depressing lights... Breakfast was just so so, for those who like western breakfast: there was toast and butter. coffee was good though - surprisingly good coffee they offered, I have to admit. Staff seemed tired-out, the nightshift girl always slept behind the desk with a thick jacket, bellboy looked like he had a bad hangover but was very nice and helpful and that is what counts. They did their job and check-in/out went very well. When checking-out though they were missing a hanger and wouldn't let me go for 20 minutes or so. Had to open my suitcase and prove that I didn't steal their hanger in order not to miss the flight. check my pics in order to see how the rooms look like. I'd prefer a different Hotel next time.

Just A Hotel Near Embassy Area
BundaK
Dalian, China | Nov 23, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyWe booked this hotel just because its location near the embassy area. And that is all we get. Other things are poor. The room is dirty and old, the staff speaks poor english, we can smell smoke everywhere, at night you can heard people talked on corridor and slammed the door, no wifi, just the cable.
If I go to Beijing for traveling, I won't choose this hotel.
