Alright but seen better budget hotels.
DAH364
Bedford, United Kingdom | Oct 6, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesPros;
- relatively Clean
- Friendly staff willing to help out with taxis or whatever you need!
- We had a big bed
- Modern looking bathroom
- Provide little papery slippers, toothbrushes, towels and a comb.
- near Chaoyang Park which seems nice and scenic.
- 10/15 minute walk from food and shops or corner shops. 30 min easy walk into Sanlitun.
- taxis often go past hotel so easy to flag down.
Cons;
- No window; left room feeling stuffy, humid and warm. Also very bad if you’re jet lagged as there’s no concept of time.
- Privacy; our bathroom was only separated by a glass door right next to our bed.
- Shower pressure a bit low, found hard to wash long thick hair.
- Noisy; can hear Walkie talky chatter from staff most of the day, also neighbours. And a strange fan/extractor that was very loud but we couldn’t turn off.
- Staff knocked on our door various times about 6 times during our stay - couldn’t get a proper nap and sometimes they didn’t even seem to want anything?
- Only Chinese tv channels
- quite far from anything you might want to do in Beijing.
- communication;Not very good English speaking but I also didn’t know any Chinese so that’s my fault! Ended up using a translation app mostly.
- hard beds (which I quite liked however)
Summary; alright for a budget hotel and if you want to be away from the tourist bustle but not the best for sightseeing or comfort. Friendly staff but expect a communication barrier. -
Above Average Hotel

Rishikesh, India | Sep 2, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getawayLots of horrible reviews about this hotel but my stay was quite pleasant. My friend booked it for me for one night and it lived up to the expectation of what I paid. Although booked 30 minutes ago through c trip before checking in I have to pay a lot extra but room was comfortable and not bad for staying overnight and leaving early in the morning. Rooms and public area were clean and so was bed & linen. Did not try food in the restaurant. Very close to various embassies and other attractions in Chaoyang. I would say not bad if you book early and avoid paying a premium price. Reception girls have a hard time communicating in English.

DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL
Amanda B
Apr 5, 2025Our room door didnt lock, none of the staff spoke a word of english (and harrached one in our group who's origin is korean for not being able to speak chinese.)
- People were running around 24/7
- Every morning at 8.30 our room started to smell smoke
- No new toilet paper
- toilet didnt flush good
If you can - dont live here when you visit Beijing. We had some friends thats living in Beijing nearby, otherwise we would have left soonwe...
