Large Room in a Good Location..

Bournemouth, United Kingdom | Jun 15, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesLarge clean comfortable room with a firm beds together with a good view of the city. Reception staff polite and helpful but the hotel is looking a little tired now. Very close to Beijing Railway Station where the airport shuttle runs. Several restaurants and shops nearby. When we arrived the shower smelt of urine but they sorted it out very quickly.

cozy place to stay

Mumbai (Bombay), India | Jun 4, 2025 | Trip type: Businesshi,i had stayed back in this hotel in march 2012.it was snowing at that time in beijing.the hotel has nice cozy rooms where you can stay.i guess it was a bit far off from the place where i had to go but that was ok.the hotel fits in the budget and offers value for money.one thing i must say that when you reach the hotel in the middle of the night and you find the reception staff not understanding english then it becomes quite frustrating.i had travelled to beijing all the way from sichiazuang, was tired and the staff who couldn't speak or understand english was not ready to give me a room.i had ofcourse a prior booking.

Room was worn, but had a good stay

May 8, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesJinJiang Inn is where we stay in China when we actually pay for a hotel room. I've stayed at this one 3 times in the last 4 years.
This time we got a Business A room on the 7th floor.
I hate to say this, but this was the worst JinJiang Inn experience my wife and I have ever had. This was the first time I've ever seen peeling paint or rust stains in a JinJiang Inn. The sofa looked dirty as well, to the point where my wife wouldn't allow me to sit on it. However, it does seem that the hotel is renovating: looking out onto the roof of the 4th floor from my window, I could see a bunch of bathrooms-in-a-box and toilets awaiting installation.
That being said, the room was otherwise clean and odorfree (aside form jerks smoking outside our room), and the JJI staff were their usual cheerfully efficient selves.
Oh, there is one other thing I didn't like: no room safe. I had to pack up my laptops and other electronics and deposit them with the front desk when I went out during the day. -
Will stay here again

Hacienda Heights, California | Sep 14, 2025I was glad to stay here while touring BJ. I usually took the bus, taxi, or just walk to get to the main st and I loved to absorb the local experience this way.
The room was very comfortable and I really enjoyed the breakfast.
I liked the tix service, which was a great help. With a little surcharge, I could have peace in mind knowing that my tix would be nicely taken care of. -
Very nice hotel. Pleasant experience.

Coeur d Alene, Idaho USA | Aug 23, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesMy wife & I had the opportunity to stay here at this particular Jinjiang. There are quite a few Jinjiang hotels in Beijing. I had verified this was the 'actual' one where we stayed.
For the most part, this hotel is rated 2 1/2 stars. My experience is that the comfort level of Jinjiang is on par with many of the 3 star hotels most Westerners visit.
The nice thing, it is affordable. The bed was very good. Our room was very clean. No odors. The A/C worked well. The hotel staff was excellent. Had no problem in communication with the front desk. The included breakfast was very good quality, although somewhat basic by Western standards. Still we liked what was offered.
O noted from a few of the other reviewers that the location is inconvenient. The Forbidden City is less than a 20 min taxi cab. Fares are dirt cheap. There are no complaints from me.
The hotel was busy. I guess it can be classified to be as a "businessman's hotel", but there were many families here during our stay.
All in all, a very good stay.
