  This is a modern hotel that has great public areas but worn rooms, probably due to it's popularity with bus tours and conventions. The TV reception is poor, the carpets need replacing and the shower had mold and leaked over the bathroom floor. Their are the full western amenities and a convenient money exchange machine in the lobby that accepts foreign currency and dispenses Yuans.

  Stayed here as part of a Charming Asia Tour. Overall OK, the place is huge and the rooms are massive.
  Could do with a bit of updating and more attention to detail however for the money ok.
  Location is a bit out in the sticks off a highway, though the place has many restaurants inside.
  Service was average, but then we found this to be the norm in China.

  We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a Nexus China Tour. An amazing hotel with fantastic grounds, stunning foyer area, and the rooms were great. Large and spacious, very clean, with a separate seating area. A big bathroom with shower and separate bath, (plenty of hot water). We found the beds very comfortable.
  The breakfasts were beautiful, with a huge selection. Really enjoyed our time here.

  Stayed here for 3nights and 4days as a part of our china tour.
  The whole facade is great.it looks very majestic and the ameneties are well kept clean. It looks very well until you get inside your room.
  Food. 3/5 . Had buffet breakfast and the selection was quite good. The hotel made sure that the food served is not the same as the day before.
  Room. 1/5. The room looks good at first glance. That was all. The bed was okay but the pillows, the duvet and the bed stank of old cigarette smell. It was not nice.
  Ensuite toilet. 3/5. The toilet was well kempt. The shower however appeared clean due to its black design but a good look will make you realize that there were mold and mildew on the corners. For a 5 star hotel in china's capital, i expected better..
  Location. 3/5. It is very far from beijing city centre. Its 1.2kms away from the nearest metro station. It would take you more than an hour on the metro to get to the main city centre. The location of the hotel is not even printed on the free beijing map given by the government.thats how far it is from the main city. The streets to walk back to your hotel can also be a bit dodgy at night especially if youre a causasian tourist. Just have to be very cautious when youre walking on a dark alley.
  Staff 3/5. The staff are nice, but a lot of them, cannot understand simple english, which makes it hard to ask or order anything over the phone.
  Overall, impressive but i wasnt too impressed. The location is a hassle because its far from everything unless youre with a tour group and be out all day with the tour bus.

  This Hotel is amazing , the rooms are suites , very luxurious , I would certainly recommend a stay there , it has a 25 meter indoor pool , and the other amenities are excellent, beautifully decorated in the lobby and upstairs tea room ......loved every minute of our stay .
