I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • Nice value for the price

The sanlitun Inn is very close to the street of bars and the shopping center of sanlitun. Check always the room before booking, some rooms are nice and really cheap, while some are terrible, small and old. Some without windows. The first night we got a bad one for 450 yuan, the second night a nice one for 50yuan. Staff speaks English and it's very polite and helpful, basic Chinese breakfast, definitely to improve. Still good for the prices of Beijing, good location.

  • Great place to stay!

The Sanlintun Inn was great place to stay. Staff spoke English & helped us with any & all requests. The breakfast was delicious every morning. It was further from the subway stops than we had anticipated but still in a good location for things to do. Also the beds were the typical Asian beds, kinda hard. Overall a great stay!

  • A hidden gem! I highly recommend this place!

This place is like a hidden treasure. Very close to the groovy Sanlitun stretch of clubs and restaurants, this hotel is hidden from the main road down a narrow alley, and when you come across it, it’s a pleasant surprise. A big, old fashioned building, the lobby located on level 2 is very well decorated in an old, luxurious style. The staff speak English with good proficiency, and the rooms are of good size, well decorated and have the comfiest pillows and blankets I’ve come across in China (in fact the blankets perhaps too comfy and hot for the Summer!). There are numerous wifi connections around the hotel, and although it went down one day, for the most part it worked (although is a little slow). The only complaints were the bed was a bit hard, and it is a little walk down to the subway station. The price was excellent, and I’d recommend this place to fellow travellers!

  • Good Location and Price.

Taxi drivers had a hard time finding this place, even with multiple phone calls, the name in Chinese and not pinyin, and the fact that it's across from a Worker's Stadium entrance. However, it's tucked away in a bustling area, so it offers some peace and quiet in a district that's full of nightlife and daily activities.
The front desk staff were professional and courteous.
The coffee shop/cafe is on the main level across from the entrance.
    It's convenient and pretty good.
The elevator is secure entry, the rooms are great for the price, and everything is within walking distance.
I met a lot of interesting people here from all over the world. It's a budget-friendly hotel in a convenient location that offers everything you could need.

  • Good location with a ok price

You get what you pay for, and this hotel is a budget hotel at a hip location. The Staff is correct but not smiling. The rooms are ok considering the low price at a location such as Sanlitun. The breakfast is a classic Chinese one, but with a espresso machine and a toaster for Europeans.
If you plan to stay in Beijing for some days and not willing to spend money on Hotels, this is a good alternative.
