• Good business hotel in BDA but horrible Wifi

  The reception staff could be friendlier and speak more English. This is a great choice in the BDA. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and it is quite good. My only complain wa the Wifi. It is just bad and keeps dropping. Otherwise very recommended.

  We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights during a tour last week we were very unhappy with the service and room supplied as a double room was booked and we were given 2 singles this was rectified quickly although not for many on our tour. The water was cold for showers and it took days to try and sort out the problem mainly due to language issues when the engineer finally arrived he more or less indicated the water was ok and left quickly, the water finally improved 4 days later when a conference booked into hotel the same as the breakfast it was very basic for the first 4 days. we were unable to use the pool unless we had a swimming certificate and a swimming cap it was really strange and also disappointing. This hotel is not 5 star although the lobby area is very nice, the bowling alley was not in operation and the little shop had next to nothing in it and it is along way to any shops as hotel is in an isolated part of the city, we could not recommend this hotel due to our experience there,

  Very pleasant luxury hotel far away from anywhere touristy. There is nothing to see, so you better have a reason to come here. The hotel itself is quite good, although a few things are not great. Internet speed was ridiculously slow during peak hours and the gym is a sad affair. Staff is friendly and helpful, food is very good, rooms are splendid.

  First of all, this hotel is located in the Business Development Area of Beijing, about 45 minutes from the city without traffic in the industrial area, so it is a business hotel, not a tourist hotel. There is absolutely nothing in the area other than factories. That said, this is a local hotel with very high Western standards, which makes it an ideal business hotel at a bargain. I would classify it as a Western 4-star hotel. The staff is excellent and they all speak English, the rooms are modern and clean, there are 3 restaurants with excellent food and the inclusive breakfast buffet is quite good. Wifi is included. The price is a fraction of what you pay in places like the Hilton, and the quality is equal or superior.

  Our family of 4 spent 4 nights at this hotel. Upon check in, it was clear that the service would be poor when we could not communicate in English and the staff was less than hospitable. Each of the 4 nights were very uncomfortable when trying to sleep. In the middle of the night, we would get up very warm, noticing that the a/c went from 25 degrees c to 30 degrees c. We tried to adjust the thermostat and complained to the hotel staff with no success. The beds were extra, extra firm. The carpet was very dirty. Daily breakfast buffet was included. The wait and kitchen staff were not friendly or helpful. Most of the food tasted like it was leftover from the day prior...dry and rubbery. The lobby was nice.
