I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

.I stayed at the Yong An for four night and enjoyed it very much.the location is OK but since the city is so big it doesn't make any difference you have to use a taxi or subway to get to the main attractions. around the hotel you can find a lot of shops very good restaurants and supermarkets all in a very short walking distance. The room is very nice and spacious the bathroom is clean and with nice verity of cosmetics.not all the people like the hard mattresses that they have in the rooms ,I happened to like it. They have free wi-fi that covers most of the rooms. the breakfast is very good and you have wide choice of western and Chinese dishes. the stuff is kind and very helpful

I was on business trip from 25 Aug to 27 Sep, my booking was right but the room is a smoking? However, I could survive but my friend was difficult.
The concierge staff was very helpful, even he could speak very little english.
I missed to visit the great wall which was recommended by the concierge due to time constraint.

Warsaw, Poland | Aug 15, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getaway

Huge place with spacious, clean rooms. Bathroom was clean, full of complimentary stuff, the towels were fresh and there were free slippers to use. The breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. The stuff was helpful and friendly. The wifi in lobby with a few nets to choose. Outside there are shops (one is 24/7) and restaurants in a walking distance. You can also find food market and spa on the right side of the hotel. The people are nice, there is no fear to walk alone except the fact not many speak English so always take a card from the hotel with a map and the details in Chinese- in case you are lost!

  • Adequate hotel

We used this hotel on a part business - part pleasure trip. English among the staff is limited and as a result mistakes were made (admittedly, Chinese among us visitors is even more limited). I asked if there was a gm and was told there wasn't, but a brochure I picked up later showed a gym. We were waiting for delivery of a parcel from Shanghai and despite alerting reception twice, the parcel was refused when delivered.
Rooms are a good size and a bit dated and tired. Beds, as others have said, are really hard, but we slept well on the. Aircon is noisy and with limited in-room control, but it does cool the room well enough. There is no wi-fi in the hotel, but cable internet in the room is pretty good if you have a laptop. Bathroom facilities are acceptable if a little dated. TV, safe, kettle and free water in room are pretty much what you would expect.
Breakfast is quite diverse with western and Chinese options. Fruit is limited to fresh watermelon and tinned litchee and mandarin which was a pity. There was also no green tea for breakfast - only black tea and very, very bad coffee. Avoid eating in the Bar in the hotel grounds. We had our single worse meal in China in this place. Very disappointing.
The hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk from a metro stop and is close to several embassies and Ministry of Agriculture offices. There are some pretty god restaurants nearby including one in the grounds of the Sheraton hotel and a famous dumpling restaurant that the VP of China and David Beckham both like, apparently.
Overall, the Yong An is good enough, but not great.

  • Don't stay here

Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania | Dec 10, 2025 | Trip type: Couples

I find the comments that the rooms were clean very puzzling. We stayed there for 4 nights in September 2014 in two different rooms and both were not what I would call clean. The sheets, etc., were fine but the carpets were badly stained, the curtains were dirty, and the general ambiance was pretty poor. The reason we were in two different rooms was that they had to change the locks on the door of our first room and needed to shut off the electricity for 24 hours to do this! There was no wi-fi in our room (nor was there in the rooms of anyone else on our tour) and the wi-fi in the lobby was quite weak. Breakfast was fine although, as in much of China, the coffee was terrible! Tea is better! The hotel is owned and run by the Chinese Army which might explain the rather institutional feel. I would add that we were not expecting to stay in a luxury hotel and knew the hotels on our tour would be fairly basic but everyone on thetour felt that this was not a hotel we would recommend and conveyed this to the tour company.
