Fabulousity at its Greatest
MichiganMatters
Jul 17, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyMy family and I stayed two nights here while vacationing in Beijing. We had a three bedroom apartment/hotel room. It's very spacious and clean. It's just the kind of welcome we needed after touring the Great Wall of China & Tiananmen Square. The restaurant located inside has excellent food. I suggest you order the beef and rice which is a favorite among guest for dinner and breakfast is buffet style. Lastly, the staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous.

Long Term Stay
Ruchika M
Beijing, China | Feb 3, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyWe have been staying in the 3 bedroom apartment since August 2014 when we moved to Beijing and the stay has been good so far. The rooms and bathrooms are huge and housekeeping comes for detailed cleaning twice a week. The furnishings are modern and tastefully done. The entire staff is very helpful and most speak good English and always greet us with a smile. The operations manager Mill is always there to answer any queries and help out in any way she can. There are regular resident get-togethers organized through the year - there was a residents barbeque organized in September and then a lovely Christmas party with games and great food in December. There is a restaurant, big gym, pool, steam/sauna and a small convenience store on site. We continue to enjoy our stay here!

Great service Appartement Hotel - for long term stay, good place for expat
Kunlun S
Beijing, China | Nov 30, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI am now 11 month here two bedroomppartment, very huge rooms. Deep cleaning two times a week, every day room service. Everything is clean. Breakfast is good, but little boring, every day the same,n new ideas Swimming pool is around 20m .driving range in walking distance. Subway close also. Nice park. Only 25 min to int. airport
I am here for business. There is no nightlife close to the hotel. Some restaurants, local supermarket. Big shopping mall is 5 min drive or 15-20 min walking -
Front Desk/Guest Service Officers Ruins Good Experience
RCD109
Cebu City, Philippines | Jun 25, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI moved here a month ago from another serviced apartment, for a 2-month stay together with my project team. The facilities are good, so my intention was to return for a longer stay as the series of project runs until 2018. I am so glad I got to stay for a short time before committing to a long term lease, as I will definitely not stay here longer than the two months because of the staff. Here are the pros and cons:
PROs:
- Restaurant and breakfast menu (though it doesn't change much) is okay
- Restaurant waiters/servers are exceptionally good at customer service
- Surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, hotel building is good
- Shop and ATM at the lobby is very convenient
- Train station is close by
- Pool/Gym/Other Facilities are good (pool is NOT heated though, contrary to what is advertised; temperature is definitely not 28 degrees)
- Rooms are spacious, furniture/fixture quite are quite good
- Professional housekeeping staff
- Fiona - She is the only front desk staff here worth her salt
CONS:
- The front desk staff's English has much room for improvement; especially as they are the guests' first point of contact
- Almost every one of the front desk staff are busy-bodies (ie: asks for flight details when you are traveling to the airport, asks what is inside the package you had delivered, asks for your room number when you ask for a taxi to be called - which is very odd)
- Inappropriate, racist behaviour (front desk asked why the company is paying for our stay at Marriott when we are not nationals of a certain country; asking how much our salaries are and why we have been sent here though we are not "white")
- Shuttle bus schedule keeps changing with no prior notification to the guests
- Condescending emails with "demands" that we need to be waiting for the shuttle bus at 5:45PM, even when the agreed timing was and has always been at 6:00PM
- Sales responds very quickly; especially when we are booking additional rooms, but front desk takes over 24 hours to respond to most communications
- Calls to the room even when on "Do Not Disturb" and late at night (11PM), because they have a question, which is not urgent in nature
- The guy at the front desk is very lazy, does not greet guests, would not bother to stand up from his post, and he was very non-chalant when I caught him sleeping on the job
It would've been a superb place to stay, but I'd rather live in a simpler place with great service; than a place I loathe every time I have contact with Front Desk. Probably okay for a short stay, but definitely NOT recommended for longer term. The attitude changes after you've signed the contract.
