Sep 16, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessWas living in this hotel for 2 months when I was in Beijing, the reception area in the hotel is huge and really takes you back, then I found myself slightly disappointed with the room was pretty basic, but overall the staff were very friendly and the rooms were basic but clean

Close to Olympic Park Metro line opposite which is an underground shopping centre. There is a supermarket on the basement floor, plenty of fresh fruit and a few foreign items. Traffic noise is not obvious.

On the weekend, one block away there is a street market with some interesting Chinese artifacts. The hotel is a 2 to 3 star but it is in a good location.

Nice...but smoky and the beds are like wood

However the beds were very uncomfortable, more like minimal padding on a hard slab I heard a few guests complaining of the beds. The room we had was nice but this is a very smoky hotel. Even the so-called non-smoking rooms on the 9th floor were very smoky and it seemed that the air conditioner system brought in even more smoke. Beijing air was very polluted and the hotel itself did not help. Any persons with asthma issues should avoid this hotel. Given the quality of the beds and the smokiness of the rooms I would not stay here again.
The main hotel restaurant served western style foods. Service was slow. The food was adequate. The breakfast buffet was okay but not exciting or tasty. The hotel information said their was a fusion restaurant and bar on the 25th floor but it appears to have closed down.
There is free wifi in the lobby only. -
