I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

I had an urgent meeting in Beijing in my embassy and chose this hotel as it was barely 500 metres away. Its in the district of all embassies and I didn't want to waste time searching or in traffic. I reached late at night and my initial experience was stressful as the reception said they couldnt find the booking at all! It took an hour and ultimately they took all the details and upgraded me to their massive suite. the suite had a bedroom, hall, dining room, kitchen , washer dryer, jacuzzi ....you mention it and it is there!! Unfortunately I had barely a few hours to sleep. Morning I went down for breakfast which was awful! As a Muslim , I was only able to eat pastries as each and every item had pork in it! I met the manager who was very nice and apologized for the error in booking and cancelled the extra charges of my card. I was able to do all my work well within my time frame mainly because of the location. The concierge was alsoa great person who got me a very good rate on the taxi to return to airport. I left the hotel totally satisfied

  • Quite okay...

I have stayed at this a hotel a few times and my experience is quite mixed. The staff is usually very friendly even though the last time I was accused of stealing cups from the room. The breakfast is okay, but not more. As often in China the food that is supposed to be eaten warm is simply already cold when you put it in your plate. In the breakfast room it is also still allowed to smoke and the smokers are not sufficiently separated from those who do not smoke. The rooms are quite nice and spacious. Last time at stayed at Guangming the air condition in my room was broken and so I was freezing in the night and when the sun hit the windows it was quite warm inside. A service lady tried to "repair" it but didn't manage. I have never had dinner at the hotel because there is a street with nice restaurant right around the corner. The gym is quite good and the hotel also has a small supermarket which offers quite a lot of things. A subway station is a 15 minutes walk away but tin general the hotel is quite far away from the city center. I would not pick this hotel for a vacation trip to explore the city simply because it is too far away.

  • Just misses a a few too many things ...
    Mark R
Hong Kong, China | Apr 27, 2025 | Trip type: Business

Stayed three nights on business. Check in was relatively easy, large room, booked a suite, most everything worked fine.
Breakfast kind of left me cold. I know many people probably not great fans of Chinese style breakfast, but I have stayed in many Chinese hotels and even their Chinese food just wasnt very exciting. Every morning I would wander around looking for something that appealed to me, and went back to the table with very little.
Lunch upstairs in the restaurant was pretty good though.
The front desk was pretty rude when my wife checked out and asked for help with a taxi. Said everyone too busy, despite the fact the three people behind the front desk had all the time in the world to stand and chat to each other....
This is my second stay there, probably wont be back.

  • Not even Four Star

Hong Kong | Jun 3, 2025 | Trip type: Business

Star ratings can be hit and miss in China, this place is rated 4 star but not as you know it in the real world. yes its half the price of most 5 star hotels and about 10x less in quality as well. If you are a westerner on a budget then there are a number of better choices in Beijing. If you like a "bed" that is hard (very hard) with hard pillows to match then this is the place for you. While only a few years old its showing some signs for poor maintenance. The air-con in my room stopped working, so they had to change rooms. :( You can get wifi but have to ask for a modem. There is a dodgy "Massage" place on the 3rd floor. The best thing about the place is the supermarket just off from the ground floor.

  • First and last....

No wifi, except a variable service in the dining room.
No business centre, despite the promise of one.
No AC except a window. In noisy smog city, are you sure? Yet there's a controller on the wall. When I asked about it I learned that AC is centrally controlled in the basement.
Bed is the hardest slab I've ever encountered anywhere.
So it's disconnected, much too hot (even in March) and uncomfortable. The staff are pleasant but unable to help.
A report below said this was not a 4 star...agreed. It doesn't meet regular international standards of many 3 stars. There are many better options on this drag.
