No more than average
Eclipticon
Vienna, Austria | Nov 2, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessMy second stay at this hotel left me disappointed. While the lobby area is very shiny and the breakfast buffet is really enjoyable, some facilities in the rooms are not functional:
WiFi was a constant issue, barely receivable and most of the time, no IP address could be assigned. Wired network was disfunctional until the wall plug was fixed. Afterwards it was super slow ...
Air conditioning did not work, despite several requests to fix it. The room light was barely enough to work on a computer. -
Dirty, unclean, old, faded, characterless, Chinese style hotel with very rude staff
mmz123
uk | Jun 27, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI chose the hotel as it is near to the Chinese national Convention Center. In summary it is a poorly run dirty, old, faded, very Chinese style hotel hardly deserving of three stars. Contrary to other reviews it is not within walking distance of the Center.. The weather is not congenial to a 30 minute walk to work, arriving dressed appropriately and looking fresh. We arrived at the hotel at 0230, and after many phone calls prior to booking were told that we needed to pay an extra night to enter the room before 0600. I booked a suite for my stay and the extra night. On arrival, after many hours of travelling, we were showed a large room and were told it was the suite. I had specifically looked on the net and also phoned and was assured it was two separate rooms. After two hours of negotiating with from desk staff who barely spoke English at 0430 we were given the suite with two rooms. I asked that due to the delay we should be compensated and not pay an extra night for 90 minutes.and was told speak to the manager after 0800. The manager simply screamed her head off at me, in an appropriate Chinese manner, and refused my request. Aside from this the room was only cleaned where it was visually easy access. Not behind furniture - (there was a large blood stain behind the armchair), not under furniture e.g. beds and coffee table, and of course the outside corridor stank of stale cigarette smoke, the wifi was very intermittent, the breakfast was very Chinese with a small Western selection. The only good point to the hotel was the housekeeping who within a minute turned up at the room door.

Not clean; difficult for non-Mandarin speakers
TheSajt
Rotterdam, The Netherlands | Nov 22, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI did not enjoy my stay at this hotel (with the exception of the bed! Extremely large and very comfortable!). I could not communicate with the staff at all, as I don't speak Mandarin. I assumed because it was a Best Western, there would be some English spoken. I feel badly complaining about communication issues, what with me not speaking the native language of an area... but I was there for work, and I could not even communicate simple requests as, "please clean my room" or "my lock is not functioning" or "my safe is broken." My room smelled very bad and there was hair everywhere. They also could not figure out how to run my company's credit card, so I had to pay out of pocket. I left after two days, switching hotels 4 days early.
They do have an expansive breakfast buffet, but for people who want something Western, do know that it is a very Chinese-style breakfast. Tasty but hard to have at 7 am. -
No..sorry can not be best
