  Marriotts are so standardly reliable that I never bother to review them, but the staff at the Marriott Beijing NE, especially the front desk and Executive Lounge staff, were so helpful, welcoming and obliging that they deserve special recognition.
  They obligingly stored some items for me while I was in the DPRK, and remembered to save a special commemorative edition of the China Daily that I would otherwise have missed.
  Many thanks indeed.
  Excellent amenities as always, of course, plus the hotel is convenient for the Airport Express line.
  Bus 406 right outside will take you to the 2 and 10 subway lines.

  I usually stay at the Marriott City Wall but have to say I liked this much better for the area. Not too over-crowded, there is a beautiful shopping area nearby. It's about a 1.5 hour walk to the silk market, if you are so- inclined. Rooms were beautiful with a big bathtub and fading glass wall between it and the bedroom. Very comfortably appointed, nice executive lounge. I asked if they had gluten-free bread and they did not. But next morning it was waiting for me. Now that is top-notch service. Well-done Marriott!

  This was first time that I stayed in the hotel. The location is OK, not in the city center and some walk to the nearest metro. The service was quite impressive in comparison with other hotels in that the staff spoke reasonably good English and were very professional. The only issue that I had was at check out time when I should be charged local currency but later found out it was in USD at quite poor exchange rate.

  I have not stayed in a Marriot property for a few years as I was never that impressed with the brand or the service. This hotel has changed my mind completely, the service is simply superb & the hotel as a whole is wonderful.
  I stayed on one of the executive levels and the room was wonderful. The executive lounge offers breakfast and dinner. The staff in the executive lounge are exceptional and do everything possible to ensure that you have a pleasant stay, to the extent that on occasion they will follow you to the elevator to push the button for you.
  This is a great hotel & I would highly recommend it

  This is THE best hotel for service and a warm welcome that I have ever stayed in. Friendly competent staff. A special thank you to Sebastien the F&B Director for his time and attentiveness at breakfast who would always stop and talk to guests in the morning. Front of house staff are excellent and always remember your name as do the staff in the restaurant, exec lounge and bar. The hotel is more like a second home than just a place to stay. From the Sandy, the General Manager to back room staff members everybody in the hotel is pleasant well mannered and nothing is ever too much trouble (even if some of my fellow guests don't deserve it). Very good location for the airport and not too far from the city centre. Right side of the city for visiting Great Wall and Olympic village.
