• Good hotel for business travelers

  Kempinski Hotel is a good hotel for business travelers. Rooms are oke but make sure on forehand that you don't want a smoking room if you don't like to sleep in the smell of cigarettes. It took me an hour to get another room.
  The lounge is good with good snacks and soups. They have a few small shops for tourist articles but also for fresh sandwiches. They also have two cashmachines. Internet is free on the room.
  So good for business but won't recommend it for couples doing romantic Beijing.

  Stayed here for 5 nights/6days and I really like the atmosphere - the lobby is cozy with a friendly feel; the room, I like it as it was the first time in many years that I can really sleep well the first night I was in a "foreign" room, read - not my own: fluffy soft pillows, fresh smelling sheets and linens; the bathroom has full set of toiletries that is topped up daily, smelling fresh and clean, and, ample hot water, use recycled water for flushing is a plus; breakfast and dinner buffet is fantastic, lot's of choices from fish to meat, veggies, fruits, bread, etc.. Loved the berry yoghurt too :) Will definitely stay here again on my next Beijing trip! Oppsss, forgot to mention, helpful staff, especially the reception, the restaurant and the room cleaners :)

  Stayed in Kempinski again for business. Overall experience not as welcoming as before. From check in, the reception couldn't locate my booking despite i already passed him my ID, and when I checked out i met the same reception guy again and he kept asking strange questions before finishing the supposed to be quick and easy check out process. Not sure if this was this individual's problem but that impacted the whole experince. Other than this person, everything's great. Room service was quick, gym reception was very helpful.

  Attended a conference and stayed in the deluxe room on level 9. The hotel is very elegant. The room was spacious and clean, with all the amenities. Fittings are a little old but they are in the process of refurbishment. My only complaint was that the room smelled of cigarette smoke.
  Check in was excellent; I emailed in advance to say I was arriving after midnight and when I got there, they had it all sorted out. When I got to my room, the air-conditioning was switched on and my bed turned down. Plenty of restaurants and cafes located at the hotel, and in the shopping mall next door.
  Location of the hotel is good. A subway station is near the mall next door.

  We stayed on the Executive floor with our group of 8 on a business trip. Every detail was impeccable. Great to have our own Guest Service people on the floor, just steps from our room. They also served breakfast & cocktails in the lounge. Very attentive & courteous staff for everything from a bucket of ice to perfect coffee.
