  The room I stayed in is outdated and needs renovation. Mold in the bathroom is not acceptable. The only window that could be opened was taped and not functioning.The breakfast room looks like a train station restaurant and the employees behalf like that.

  Loved the experience. great hotel. spacious rooms. good breakfast. provided in room slippers. Neighbourhood is very crowded and can be unnerving to walk by yourself. Mall close by and so good shopping around there.

  It was my first business trip to Beijing, I knew traffic in Beijing could be stressful and I did not want any complication so picked a 5 star hotel near to office. My colleague reacted negatively when I told them I have booked Pullman, I thought how bad can it be?
  This hotel simply is not 5 star quality. Built like one, look like one but quality isnt up to standard. First up, the bathroom in my first room was flooded after 1 shower, slowly the carpet right outside of the bathroom were damp. I could see that it wasnt a new problem because there are blacked waterline stained on the wall. Staff was quick to give me another room though. Although no big problem in 2nd room, the fixture were obviously old and desperately need maintenance. First it was the carpet stains, then the legs of the bathroom cabinet legs were falling apart due to repeated 'knocking' while cleaning.
  Worst of all was the gym! It was bewildering to build the gym and pool in the basement. When I went to the basement I wasnt sure where to go. One side was dimly lit, the brighter side was the beauty parlor and staff changing rooms. After some asking around, I should gone to the dimly lit side. Walked through a makeshift storage area to entrance of another changing room, I was dismayed with the sight of swimming pool and 'gym'. It simply wasnt inviting and definitely not properly ventilated enough for workout.
  Location of the hotel is in an industrial area, and there are few quick and cheap eats across the street if you do not want to dine in hotel restaurants all the time. About 2 or 3km away, theres a mall with a lot of choices in restaurants. Hotel is between 2 subway stops so theres another option if you want to go to city center instead of by taxi
  Plus was the staff are polite and helpful. But to be a true 5 star hotel, Pullman has to do a lot better in up-keeping.
  Cant say I will return to this hotel for my next visit. But I can recommend if you want a room away from busy city.
