• Great value near the Airport and A Mall Adjacent

  I found the Crowne Plaza Beijing Sun Palace to be an excellent alternative to my normal Beijing stays. I knew I would be flying out in a couple days, so I decided to stay a little closer to the airport. This property was a pleasant surprise because it was pretty close to the airport, and it actually had some things in the area to occupy my free time. There was a small shopping mall next door to the property.
  
  The rooms were very nice and at the Crowne Plaza standard. They had a wonderful breakfast area that was on par with any of the breakfast areas that I have had at a hotel. Western and Chinese food were both available.
  
  The property also has a nice bar area and a really nice pool area for you to relax in. I had no problem keeping busy here, and would definitely recommend it. The taxi ride from the airport was under 50 yuan, and that is about half what I would normally pay to go into the First Ring. I have stayed near the airport at other hotels, and this was probably the best one for a relaxing stay and some walkable things for me to do.
  
  The staff was very friendly and helpful. I found them to speak very good English, and they went out of their way to be helpful.

  As you experienced, this hotel enjoys a super convenient location, which is 30 minutes driving distance to the airport as well as 10 minutes away to two metro stations by walk. Besides, there is a shopping mall next door with many shops, restaurants and entertainments. We are happy to know that you were satisfied with the spacious room and the outstanding breakfast service. Apart from that, the well-equipped gym and indoor swimming pool are located on 6th floor, which have won tons of recognition. The hotel team is much appreciate for your kind words toward the friendly and helpful staff. We do pay attention on staff training to ensure we all have the high standard service and language skill.

• Just one thing....

  I stayed here for 7 nights recently, and overall it was a very good experience. Excellently appointed room and facilities to work there, great gym and sensible opening hours (0530), and very helpful staff. Breakfast is amazingly good and comprehensive.
  The “just one thing” is the à la carte menu in the evening. The main restaurant really mainly caters for people who want the very extensive buffet, but the kitchen does not seem geared up to serve those who just want something smaller from the not very extensive à la carte menu, and on 3 occasions, I had to wait a long time for a rather over cooked meal (it may have been waiting to be served for a while in the kitchen).
  A good stay overall, though and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

  It was an honour to have you stayed with us and we are delighted to learn that you enjoyed your spacious room, great facilities, the well-equipped fitness centre as well as our outstanding service. We feel sorry to notice that you had to face some inconvenience while ordering a la carte menu in the all-day-dining restaurant. Apart from The Market restaurant where mainly serve buffet during dinner time. We do have the other two Chinese restaurants, Rainbow Yunnan restaurant and JUN Chinese restaurant, which you can choose our speciality Yunnan tastes or Beijing flavour. At the same time, we have a large variety of in-room-dining selection for western food, which will be handled individually.

  Very good quality hotel with all the facilities you would expect. Well trained and friendly staff.
  
  Minor quibbles: the a/c in the room blasted cold air at the desk but left the bed in a hot spot, and in general was impossible to control successfully. Coffee at breakfast is badly organised - either a single machine serving a huge number of people, or give your order to one guy whose attention it's difficult to catch and who then will take a while to get to you. If you have time for a slow relaxing breakfast it's probably just fine.
  
  These things aside however I found it an excellent stay

• Over all very good hotel

  first time in China, pick this hotel due to its location. Overall great hotel, good service, English speaking staff, nice clean lobby. food quality was alright. I mostly stayed outside due to meetings etc. so didn't have the opportunity to check all the areas of the hotel.

  1. After about a year, I’m here again. This time just a night. Always enjoy staying at this hotel.
  2. The room is well decor & maintains. Combination of modern & Chinese decor. It loaded with full modern amenities.
  3. Hotel lobby is huge & plenty of seating area. There are bar nearby to Chili out.
  4. As per normal, hotel staff are amazing. The are friendly & full of warm Chinese hospitality. Well done everyone.
