Fair price, great location
Gregory D
Denver, Colorado | Oct 24, 2025I've stayed here 3 times. True, it will be due for a room refresh in the next few years, but we accept some fit and finish problems in the bathroom in exchange for the good price. Yes: the bathrooms do not have traps in the drain to block the sewer gas smell that can taint the air in the bathroom, though it is usually mild. I don't think this is a "3 star hotel" but if I gave it only 2 stars, Tripadvisor calls it "poor", which it is not.
Positives: free wifi, free parking, good windows that can mostly seal out the street noise and curtains that will block the light, location: about a 6 or 7 minute walk to the Sanlitun shopping and restaurant district. 7-11 and a breakfast restaurant next door. Good restaurants nearby - about halfway to the Sanlitun shopping. Also, look up "Krow's Nest" pizza nearby to find it and a few other restaurants hidden in the neighborhood. Walk south to Chaoyang Rd North and head right (west), pass through the bus station and find the McDonald's for always reliable and affordable coffee in the morning. There is an electronics mall a bit more west along that road if you want to try your bargaining skills. Cross Chaoyang Rd and go down Dongdaqiao road to the Parkview Green shopping mall, the most impressive mall I have ever been in and, in a city of world-class architecture, one of the most stunning buildings. Then continue along Dongdaqiao and cross the street and you will find yourself at the World City Mall, yet another amazing concept and execution for a public shopping space. Must visit at night for the overhead light show. Great eating options there.
Negatives: small rooms. After you've set your luggage down, hard to negotiate around the queen-sized bed. -
Visit to friends
Richard B
Beijing, China | Sep 3, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getawayRooms are a little small, but affordable for the area. WiFi is good in some rooms and better in others. Sometimes the staff can be very friendly and other times they can be simply functional. The place is fairly clean, but not detailed on the cleanliness, not bad, clean but sometimes you can tell that a quick job was done. The rooms are usually pretty clean, it is just the common areas which could have just a bit more care. Overall the place is good. It is close to Sanlitun and subways.

excellent location for party and shopping.
ken_wall_bom
Sweden | May 16, 2025 | Trip type: Businessthe hotel is located on walking distance to the famous sanlitun village. party and shopping area no1 in beijing. at the same time it is conviniently located as a base for beijing exploration. just a stones throw from ring roads and major boulevards.
the hotel is just as any other ibis branch. quite small rooms, but clean and tidy. staff service level is good for china. some of them even speak a bit of english.
i`ll stay here again for sure. -
Pornographic cards given
ramonfraga
Oct 4, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getawayTerrible staff English. Only the manager could speak a little bit. I found a woman hair on the bathroom floor sheet. Somebody put some pornographic cards under the door although it is against the hotel policies (sign in the room). Terrible control of luggage store after check out. No safe of not losing it.

Poor hotel

Birmingham, United Kingdom | Aug 27, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getawayPoor rooms. Far too small. Bad food in the cafe. Would not recommend to families it's full of prostitution. Place smells. Better hotels available for the money . Only good thing is its close to santilun.
