• Good hotel at conference center

  The hotel is very well situated for the convention center (which is unfortunately poorly situated in Beijing, at 1h from the city center at any time of the day). There are no restaurants around, so you have to eat at the hotel. The hotel restaurants consist of a low level diner and a high level restaurant. The diner serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is at most passable, with a random assortment of food types. The prices are very high, ridiculously so, still less than the unacceptably high prices of the “Trattoria” which is anything but. This on is a strange restaurant, having no starters on it’s menu and. All dishes at the $100 range. The steak is fantastic, but at 350g for a fillet it’s just a way to make money. The pizzas cost $30 and the pasta is not far off. Having no other choice to eat, it added 25% to the already high Club Floor room bill.
  
  The staff are he,Paul but very few of them speak English. It takes a combination of hand gestures and translators to get anything a little bit complicated. My son wanted ice for his water cup and instead got boiling water (I assume they thought he’d make tea). The concierge on the other hand was fantastic. The services provided expensive however, but I didn’t have the time or inclination to haggle.
  
  If you have to stay I. Beijing, and have to be near the convention center, this is the best available choice. I strongly recommend you do not stay in the center as that takes 1h journey.

I appreciate your detailed feedback and where we have room to improve and a lot of efforts are needed to improve on the English knowledge of the staff.
  
  What concerns location for tourist, actually our hotel is located in the Fourth Ring Road, near many sites, such as the Olympic Stadium (Bird's Nest), the Water Cube and the Olympic Park, all within walking distance, and is also easy access to the Summer Palace as well as the Great Wall. Also, there are many dining options in the Xin Ao shopping center & Beijing North Star Century Centre, 5-min walking distance from the hotel, also Metro Line 15 and Line 8 (Olympic Green Station) is about 5 mins away on foot, it takes only15-20 mins to go to the city center, or you may choose to go there by taxi, it will no more than 25-30 minutes on average. You may consult our Concierge team next time for your travel arrangements in Beijing.
  
  On the brighter side, it is good to know that our Concierge team left you a great impression.

• Great hotel near Olympic Village

  The hotel was very nice, very ACed :)
  Room was super spacious, cleaned several times a day. Large bathroom. Breakfast spectacular and diverse. Come prepared with a VPN if you want to connect to your western internet sites.

• Great hotel, room for improvements

  The hotel was great, room was clean, big and comfortable.
  The issue was the service. I was part of a large delegation, we travelled from Europe, after a long trip we were hoping to have a shower and visit the city, since we didn’t have so much time for it. Unfortunately our room were not ready, we waited more than an hour, some members did not enter the room until 5 pm. Plus communication in English was extremely hard. People was very kind, polite and nice, but not being able to communicate well is not acceptable for an international hotel.
  Given the fact that everything else was very good I rate it 4 stars.

• Excellent stay

  Terrific staff and very nice rooms with fabulous views of the birds nest Olympic Center. Carol at the front desk is especially accommodating and speaks excellent English. The pool is also very nice, clean with good locker facilities.
