I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • Very clean and nice hotel

The Jiang Tai Art Hotel is a very good hotel - clean, nice design, professional and helpful staff.
I stayed in the honeycomb room and actually would not recommend it unless you really want to stay in the area (near 798) for one of the cheapest prices available. The room was neat but very small. It is basically a bed with an extra foot of space to walk in. You cannot stand erect. That being said, it was comfortable for sleeping and I spent the rest of the day outside. The shared bathroom was clean and the hotel provides toiletries. I think it would be an excellent option if the price was cut in half, but for now it's a cheaper, austere option in a nice hotel.

  • Convenient for the 798 art district and the airport

This is a quirky hotel which might not suit everyone. There is an art theme throughout with some interesting features including a huge calligraphy table and a room with glass walls. Our room was on the small side but comfortable and the bathroom in our case had glass walls. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, both the night staff who welcomed us at midnight and the day staff who found us a cab to the airport the next morning. The taxi ride to the airport is only 20 minutes. The breakfast, which we unfortunately had to rush, was really tasty. There were some western items such as toast and bacon and a great selection of Chinese food. The salads were really delicious. I would go back here but would try and get a larger room with a bigger double bed.

  • Awesome decoration

I had stayed in honeycomb bed for a night. The room is OK form e. There are a bottle of water, a towel and slipper for each guest. The bed is not so comfy because it is flat and hard but it was OK for me since it was a short stay. The decoration is awesome. The staffs are very nice and they can speak English well. from the hotel to the international airport took only 15 minutes at early morning ( around 70-80 CNY).

  • INCREDIBLE

Baltimore, Maryland | Jun 13, 2025 | Trip type: Solo travel

This hotel is not perfect, but it is pretty amazing. The art everywhere blew me away. If you have a chance, walk up and down the main stairway and check out the design of each floor.
I stayed in the cheap honeycomb room. It's small, but I didn't mind. However, Western-style toilets would have been nice.
The reception desk was as helpful as they could be. I stupidly booked for the wrong night and they allowed me to change my reservation. I do speak Chinese and if I had been limited to English it might have been more difficult.
The Jiangtai Art Hotel is still a Chinese hotel and as such isn't without its flaws, but the sheer beauty of the design astounded me and more than made up for them in my eyes.

  • Lovely hotel unless your in a single room

The honeycomb pods you get if your travelling alone are a disaster. Its like a cheap hostel and a room that you can not stand up in. The rest of the hotel is lovely but this budget area was horendous. Every morning someone next door (flimsy wood and can hear everything seperate the pods) had their alarm set and woke me up at 4am. If it wasnt that then someone was up watching tv to 2am, if it wasnt that then someone was snoring. Shocker. Never ever again.
