Miami, Florida | Oct 12, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI arrived late at night after a 16 hours flight. Check in was very quick and I arrived to my king room, corner view. The room was very clean, had a good work area, and HUGE shower. Bed was comfortable and that was what I needed at the time.
The gym is excelllent. The bar downstairs is great, nice selection of appetizers and drinks. Comfortable too. The staff is very attentive.
Being next to Indigo Shopping Center is great, you have Starbucks and some restaurants there that are different, more western, if that is what you want.
My only bad experiences were that the room was too cold, I mean frigid and I could not get get it warm, nor get any one to come take care of it.
Also ordering room service is a challenge, better to go to the restaurant, which is very good. -

I love the room, it's small but complete. iPod in room is good for searching the information of hotel and around the hotel. 798 art zone is only 15min walking distance from hotel. Hotel is connecting with a big shopping mall and subway station is just located downstairs.
We love everything of EAST, it's unique option in Beijing. -

Room is spacious and clean; service excellent; right next to a big shopping mall so super convenient. It is a little far from the city centre though, so if you are planning on doing lots of sight seeing maybe this is not the best option.

After two weeks of staying in 4-star and 5-star hotels in Shanghai, Chengdu and Beijing, this was the best experience of my trip. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, with huge windows. Also comes equipped with an ipod stocked with tunes and news apps. And they have a good slate of TV channels (ESPN, HBO, BBC, etc) Service was attentive and courteous, and the front desk and reception staff all spoke good English. Great breakfast included with my room, cool bar downstairs. I did not get a chance to try the Japanese restaurant, but friends in Beijing say great things about it as well.
Location near 798 art district is also a plus for me, but if you have lots of meetings in the CBD or Haidian, this might not be the best location for you. -

The room was narrow but equipped with specious (big I mean) shower room. I will suggest anyone to upgrade to the corner rooms so you will feel happier with the openness. Some of the in-room design can be improved for easier use.
