I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • Great option for a luxurious stay!

Radegast Lakeview has well designed rooms and a good location. Its located right opposite the Longtan park where we went for serene evening walks. They have a restaurant that customized and delivered some delicious vegetarian dishes.. something that came as a huge relief for us!
Its not near a metro station. But we had booked our sightseeing tours already... it was not too much of a disadvantage for us. The views from the higher floors are impressive and this is a really well known hotel easy to locate.

  • Pretty good hotel for cheap

My partner and I stayed here in May 2015. This hotel was really quite good, despite a minor hiccup with our credit card not working on arrival to pay the deposit. Rooms were very clean and spacious, massive and very comfortable bed. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, they were more than happy to assist us with taxis and directions. The cafe wasn't too bad, much of what you would expect from a buffet. All in all I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and would recommend it to others.

  • 4 star hotel - comfortable stay

We stayed at the Radegast Lakeview Hotel in Beijing and found it to be a very clean and comfortable setting. It was considered a 5 star hotel on Expedia, but I'd say it is more towards a 4 star. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the bathrooms were a bit dated, albeit still nice. The breakfast buffet was OK and reasonably priced. I would suggest eating outside of the hotel, as there are a lot of great places in close proximity. I'd suggest looking for places online and taking a taxi, as almost all signs are in Chinese, and if you don't understand the language you have no idea what type of restaurant you might be walking into! The staff at the hotel were nice, and generally helpful, although there definitely is a major language barrier, but that is to be expected. Not sure if I'd stay again, as I typically prefer a more 5 star experience, but nonetheless, this was still a good hotel at a great price!

  • Avoid this hotel, Terrible

Perth, Australia | Sep 17, 2025 | Trip type: Family

Utterly ridiculous. No one speaks English at all. Front desk staff actually run and hide when they see you coming. No help with baggage coming or going. They could not retrieve voice messages for us, and phone did not dial out of hotel in our room. While waiting for call in lobby, concierge actually got so confused he handed me the phone when his girlfriend called. Had to go downstairs to request room service menu. It's like a Monty Python skit trying to order anything. Then got called and told to bring the menu back? They do not have 5 restaurants that is a lie. Only one that Westerners can use. We tried to go to only other restaurant in hotel. They walked us out, no English and no Menu translations so sorry. Buffet in cafeteria style restaurant is set price for dinner, we decide to try,get bill, it's way more expensive. I point out error, they say nope it's right. I ask why, after much discussion amongst staff, young waiter comes over and tells us (it's because it's Friday ) Paid for club room access, Mother inlaw decides to go have a cup of tea while I'm out. Staff refuse her entry, escort her back to elevators. Hugely embarrassing for her. I go to front desk and enquire why they saw fit to remove an elderly lady who had her keycard and was entitled to be there. Nope can't explain. They have what they call a lounge, it's not. Decide to have a coffee and read for a bit. Cost for one flat white $10.00 Aussie dollars. The hotel lobby is clean, the rooms and restaurant are most definitely not. The view is nice, but you have to pay for it, and it's not worth staying here for. No one greets you, and staff in lobby seem to be patrolling for invaders. Even though you need a keycard to use elevators. All up it was a terrible stay, this is not a good hotel. Find somewhere more pleasant to stay. And I'm aware that this is a foreign country and to expect they speak your language is asking a lot, but they state they are a 5 star hotel for international travellers. Don't say it if you can't deliver!
Also must say its not near anything so a bad place to set up base for tourists. AVOID

  • Would not stay here again!

When I booked this hotel I was told it was a 5 star, it is definately NOT!
This hotel would be lucky to get two stars!
I booked the hotel because it raved about the spa - sauna, steam room and pool.
I travelled to China with my partner and found that I had no access to the sauna as it was based inside the male changing room and he had no access to the steam room which was based in the female changing room and I didn't use it as I found it was freezing cold!
The pool was cold and in order to use it you had to purchase a swimming hat and the apparent Jacuzzi was terrible as the power jets hardly worked.
The gym was tiny and had hardly any equipment so I choose to go out running instead by the river.
Staff spoke very little English so were unable to assist with questions.
One positive is that the room was clean although I regularly hurt my foot if not wearing footwear as the carpet grips were coming through the carpet.
The hotel is not situated in a nice area and quite a long walk o the nearest subway station.
