  Comfortable room, lovely lobby. Comfortable beds and great pillows- slept well. Breakfast had heaps of western options and local cuisine if you are game. We went early and had the restaurant to ourselves.

• Nice hotel but honest rooms

  The hotel lobby looks fancy and extravagant, but one you step in the room the golden image disappears. Rooms are small and slightly old and also not so clean. Most annoying was the air conditioner. The filters were full of dust, so if you are allergic stay away from this hotel. Otherwise the hotel provides a many options for restaurants and bars but very expensive. It is also close to the subway and from here you can easily get to all most important points of the city.

  As you rightly say the hotel enjoys a very good location adjacent to a major metro line which makes getting around Beijing very easy. Your positive comments regarding the the hotel lobby and public areas are also welcome and well received.
  The issue regarding the air-conditioner is regrettable and immediate action has been taken to rectify this and I thank you for bring this to our attention.
  With respect to pricing within our restaurants and bars, we believe our pricing structure is very reasonable when compared to our immediate competitor hotels and especially when compared to hotels in the CBD which are seen as extremely expensive even by International standards.

• A nice hotel to stay

  A nice hotel with perfect location at a reasonable rate. Close to universities and high tech park, the nearest subway station is only 1-2 min by walk. Its restaurants are very good with many variety of choices including both Chinese and Western food. I like the Four Season restaurant in particular. You can also enjoy 20% off the listed price for being a hotel guest. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here very much. A major issue I experienced was the internet in the room. I could only use it to send/receive emails but never successfully made a conference call. Another issue I experienced was the smoke from the ventilation fan in the bathroom. If I were to turn on the fan, I could smell the smoke as if someone was smoking in the room. I had to keep it off most of the time and it worked well for me.

  not too far from airport and close to main metro station. clean and comfortable, helpful staff, precise services. english spoken currently by hotel staff.
  while not on same side of airport the place is conveniently located with respect to main transportation in beijing, the underground.

• Not what is used to be!

  I have stayed at this hotel for the past 10 years but only about 4 times total. I do not get to Beijing very often. This location is great because I can walk two blocks to our office. We get the breakfast buffet included in our price which is very competitive. The breakfast is my best meal of the day at this hotel. It has just about everything you can think of for breakfast. Wait service is not very attentive this last time. The wait staff needs to be trained to look at people and their tables. I do not know how many times a waiter just past by my table and did not even look my way. Good luck getting another cup of coffee. You usually need to go up and ask them to serve you. They just stand around staring at the ceiling.
  The real problem is with the internet service. I understand there are a number of restrictions on web site access in China (no Google) but at least you need to be able to get to the web. The service was so slow and spotty it is very hard to do any business in the hotel room. Good thing I don't stream videos - that would never work.
  It is also a good thing my office is close and open on the weekends because I use my companies internet from the office.
  The rooms are pretty standard but the beds are substandard. Very hard, not your typical hotel mattress. The HVAC system really sucks. The room was probably 80 degrees F when I check in and tried to regulate the heat but no luck the heat just kept blasting. I called down to the desk and they sent someone up with a fan! Not a very good solution. I tried turning off the heater but still the room would not cool down and I called again. They sent someone else up and he suggested opening up the window. Well it was 23 degrees F outside so that did the trick but that window stayed open my whole 8 day stay and the heater continued to heat. Not the best experience.

  Thank you for your response concerning your recent stay. Firstly allow me to apologize for the lapses in service which you experienced and for the technical problems regarding Wifi which unfortunately affects some areas of the hotel intermittently notwithstanding the restrictions on access which you mentioned. With respect to the heating it is now Winter in Beijing so the heating is necessary with rooms temperatures set uniformly throughout the hotel, I do however accept that for some guests the setting may not be comfortable.
