A delightful stay
nedandkamal
Milledgeville, Georgia | Oct 27, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesWe stayed 3 nights here and we're very pleased with the experience. Housekeeping was diligent and cooperative. The restaurant was excellent. The hotel was booked as part of a Viking Cruises tour and we were very happy with our time there in Beijing.

Atlanta, Georgia | Oct 17, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesWe arrived at the Beijing Ritz Carlton and were greeted by several Hotel employees by our names! They continued this service thru out this hotel for 4 days!!! Delightful, professional, top notch service......other review said it was dated......it was not! It was elegant, traditional, and they treated us superbly! We were treated with grace thruout our stay. The manager and other employees went out front on our departure and wished us well ......fantastic food, service, and respect for professional service. Absolutely loved it and will return if possible. I highly recommend !!!

Dated decor but good service and In-room dining
clobbes
Singapore | Oct 16, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessRoom is comfortable and has the amenities I needed.
Hotel made arrangements for me to use the shower in the spa before my flight, after I've checked out in the morning. Would have tried out the spa if I had time.
In-room dining was good.
Will go back to the hotel for the good customer service. -
Great service and experience

Sep 29, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI was here for two weeks on an extended business trip and had a wonderful time. The staff was fantastic, learning my name and remembering me, our conversations, my preferences, etc, and were extremely knowledgeable about the area and will to help with any of my needs. Specifically, Marco the concierge made a point to greet me every time he saw me and we constantly had in depth conversations. The restaurants are all delicious with more great service. In particular, Stella at Barolo was extremely hospitable and Ksenia, the Director of Restaurants, made sure I well taken care of. My room was gorgeous, kept clean and organized by the staff whenever I wasn't in the room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone when staying in Beijing.

Classic hotel with a lovely club lounge and spa
Charlie M
Copenhagen, Denmark | Sep 28, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getawayThumbs up for this Ritz-Carlton for primarily The very warm and attentive service of staff from my arrival to my departure. They raise the bar for this Ritz establishment- without a doubt.
I stayed in a club room and I can certainly recommend the value for what one pays for when you get this type of room. But first things first- my initial impression.
Front desk- there was a cultured, gallant young and composed Italian man who spoke super English and what seemed to me as being spotless, fluent Chinese. I noted his name: Marco. Thank you for making my Ritz experience fab. Keep up your excellent service! You are an asset to the Ritz Carlton. Leona from front desk was great. You will hope that Marco and Leona will be there when you check in! And as for Ritz's outstanding concierge that went the extra mile- thank you John and Linda. You definitely know Beijing!
This hotel is well situated close to some high end shopping malls and lovely eateries. However, if you have a club room, then you might as well forget about the restaurants around the hotel. The club lounge is an endless flow of food and drinks- with possibly an hour between breakfast and lunch and afternoon tea and dinner. Even though the hotel refers to these as pre-meal "hors d'oeuvres" or canapés- they are all filling meals in their own right always laid out as a buffet. So you will be spoilt! I did not even have to go to "Aroma"- the ground floor restaurant because I was taken care of brilliantly on the top floor club lounge.
Special mention to the lounge staff- Amber, Louisa, Klaus and Summer who were remarkable and remembered all my activities and genuinely followed up by asking how my particular experiences in Beijing were. Ladies and gent, you are an asset.
How about this for care: the ladies in house keeping even left a hand written note in my bathroom a certain evening as they had decided to give me a larger tube of toothpaste because they noticed I used it a lot! How personal could things get? I had a good laugh cause my spirits were lifted! Thanks!
When leaving the hotel, house-keeping gave me a gift. I was swept off my feet...
Oh- and the spa and pool: The environments and level of maintenance was very good-calming with a good flow of guests, that seemed very satisfied. A definite must do on my next visit. If there's something negative for me to say: then it's the pollution in Beijing. But Ritz Carlton- you can't solve this on your own! You did give me a clean and fresh smelling spa to escape to- and that's what you definitely can keep on doing!
The hotel generally has a very classy boutique-like feel starting from reception with antique British manor-like furniture, which is featured all through the hotel. This accords the Ritz Carlton a homely feeling. The club lounge did feel a little over the top with busy designs on the furniture and a "busy design in the carpet". A tone down would be fine.
I liked my room which made me feel like I was in the bedroom of a well appointed house instead of a hotel.
I will come again very soon. Thank you for a memorable stay.
