  the hotel was small and nice but as I reached, since it was a late night flight I felt it was in remote area there is a very small lane in which hotel is there, I was very upset because being a handicap it was difficult for me because the hotel did not have a proper slope, it was steep n small to take in my chair automatically on my own to get in, so I needed to get off my chair and get into the hotel and the receptionist was so busy with people that I felt a little worried to get that extra attention being on a wheelchair. the staff speaks very manageable english that also only one person could understand me I have noticed one thing about china that they don't have people speak in english which is very sad. the room was on the backside but surprisingly there was a slope even though it was on ground floor but to get there.. there were steps and steps, basically it is not at all wheelchair friendly. they have a small restaurant in house which serves good food but chinese obviously. since my breakfast was included in the morning I would go but again it was very basic but chinese like noodles, fried rice, some chinese bread managed somehow but not something relishing. the room is small and cozy, neat and clean it has a tv but only chinese programs which is frustrating. again bathroom was very small and nice. it has a cubicle for a bath. I enquired that they had laundry for 20 rmb. they have a travel desk which was closed because I reached late but they made me speak to the lady of the travel desk and I arranged a trip with the tour for early morning to wall of china. yes the hotel charges 100 rmb as a refundable deposit even though you have booked the hotel with the agent or travel portal as I did mine with makemytrip. the main road is walking distance from the hotel and since the hotel is in such a small lane the tour guide came in the lane to pick me up and we walked to the main road for the bus. there are a few restaurants in the main road like mcdonalds and others small chinese places but I did not get a chance to use that as problem to get into those restaurants because of non accessibility for a wheelchair. I did go to a restaurant maybe half a kilometre from the hotel a very authentic chinese place but again the problem of reading the menu in chinese I looked at it for a few minutes there was nobody to understand me what I wanted to eat I just left the place because of non communication. the hotel does not provide with water but they do sell for 3 rmb for a small bottle in the hotel so it is always sensible to go out and buy it from a shop you get it cheaper

  I stayed for a week in this hotel, mostly because of its price.
  The location is really great, and the room was a good size and it had Air con which was a god sent in September as Beijing is very very hot!
  I stayed in lots of hotels as i went around various parts of the country and this was by far the cheapest, but it had by far the best service. They really cannot do enough for you

• Ideal stop over for Beijing Railway - nothing more

  We only had a couple of hours here to sleep so it's not the most detailed review but as a stopover for Beijing Railway is was ideal. Short walk - the staff at the hotel kindly gave us a little breakfast for the road as we had to check out before breakfast time.
  No English speakers as a heads up. Room was fine, nothing more - basics were good enough to sort us out.
  Would advise against staying for more than a night but would recommend if you arrive late via rail or leave early next day to avoid rushing around the City.

• A Step Above Average but not "Very Good"

  There needs to be a "good" designation. For the price and knowing the standards typically found in Chinese Hotels, I had no specific complaints. Its a good value for the price. The biggest challenge is finding it. But having had to do it a couple of times now, its not so difficult. From the airport take the airport express subway to the Dongzahimen Station to the Number 2 line. Take the 2 to the Beijing Railway Station (BJS). Exit the subway following the signs for the BJS. As you come up the stairs note the white fence along the street to the left. Follow the fence straight to the next intersection in front of the tall (look up) Jin Guo Long hotel. Turn right and follow the alley to the end in front of a police station, turn right and its about 20 meters on the left. The photos on the website show the courtyard not the exterior of the hotel. There is a restaurant on premises and there are many restaurants across the busy road that runs in front of the train station.
  The rooms were small, and as other have said, can be a hike to the 3rd and forth floors as there is not a lift. The room was small but clean and the bed actually quite comfortable for a Chinese hotel which are notorious for rock hard beds. The bathroom was small but had modern fixtures and was clean. The shower had ample hot water. The room that we were given overlooked the train yard and sleep was a bit of challenge with all the bells and whistles so we asked to change rooms. The next room was on the first floor and just large enough for the bed and a desk. The bathroom was actually comical, it was clean but looked like it had been cut out of a mobile home and placed in the room. It was elevated about 15" off the floor and had a curtain for a door.
  I would stay here again, but perhaps would upgrade to a larger room.

• Good clean budget hotel

  Small clean rooms in this budget hotel,located close to the subway 2,this hotel is very clean and comfortable.One can have a lot of Chinese eateries near about along with KFC and Mcdonalds as well,but if that's not the choice of food you looking for,one also have an induction stove where in you can cook for yourself by your choice.
