Great location and good value

Very pleased with the service and amenities provided by the hotel. It is right across the road from the Main Railway Station, one Exit of the Subway goes directly in the Henderson Building. My room on the inner side was very quiet. Some people complain about the firmness of the bed, but I prefer a firm bed and that holds for most hotels in China, hmmm good for your back. The Forbidden City and the Silk Street are about 30 mins walk away or 10 mins by the Subway, which is very easy to use. KFC, PIZZA HUT and McDonald's are in the same block.

For the price that we paid, the hotel was lacking: the beds were too hard, there was no milk availalable in our room, no extra pillows were supplied. The dining room, on the fifth floor, was difficult to access, especially fo people who are disabled. The steep steps to the dining room are not suitable for people who are not physically fit. We found that the drinks from the hotel bar were extremely expensive. Also, the amount served was minuscule.
The room was very spacious and the bathroom was excellent.
The concierge and the receptionists were very helpful, but, sadly, lacked basic English skills, and, at times, it was difficult to communicate

Very nice hotel in a good location. Excellent breakfast, large rooms and overall good service. Security in the hotel was good with access to room corridors via key card. Nice bathrooms, good air conditioning. The hotel also has a business center. Hotel is located next to a large shopping mall which is connected, in the basement, to the Metro and the rail station.

This hotel is across the street from the main railway station and accessed via a bridge so very easy walking distance. Additionally, it is attached to a shopping mall with many dining choices. The breakfasts are excellent. There is an adequate gym and tennis courts. It was also easy to take the subway from the Howard Johnson Paragon. From our room we could see the front of the busy railway station where there is always activity but the room itself was quiet. There was a big lobby with plenty of seating and a concierge for taxis, restaurants or tours. And

We stayed here four nights in early sept. Perfect location opposite the Beijing train station. Clean, excellent service and staff. Hot water, room for luggage, good wifi, comfy bed, clean linen, soft towels. Good restaurant. Not thing to fault with this hotel. We got a great rate around eighty bucks on bookings. True value. Very happy. Close to the subway... But also a decent walk to Tiananmen and forbidden city and walking street. Trains rotation offers cheap eating. Supermarket and store below.
