  The best location for visiting the good places in beijin, good breakfast, I took a tour that was recommended in the hotel to the great wall, it was great , service , room was very good.
  You can go by foot to the food market.

  People make all the difference, and the staff in this hotel's Club Lounge are the best! Angela, Ellen, Amy, Judy, and Cheryl deserve special mention. Their efforts ensured a perfect stay in early December, and I will be back on the 26th. This is an excellent hotel, and management made room specifics I requested a high priority. The fitness center is well-staffed, with everything a person could want to exercise (many treadmills, ellipticals, bar bells/bench, universal, etc.

  Stayed in this hotel for 3 days during a personal tour to Beijing. The hotel is in a convenient location within walking distance to Forbidden City. The hotel staff is friendly and understand English well. A special mentioned should be made of the concierge who help with booking tickets for attractions, getting a taxi, train tickets, etc. They arranged a shared taxi for me to visit Great Wall with other guests in the hotel as I did not want to take the tourist bus and did not want to pay the taxi fare all by myself. The breakfast is good. Room furniture is dated and needs upgrade.

  The Crowne Plaza Beijing Wangfujing Hotel is the best Crowne Plaza hotel we've ever stayed at, bar none! I can't be more emphatic than that!
  
  Great service, very good breakfast, good steak house, great room, very comfortable beds and pillows and super location right on the shopping street.
  
  If you ever visit Beijing, the Crowne Plaza Beijing Wangfujing hotel is THE place to stay!

• Great location, but in need of a refresh

  We stayed here for 4 nights during a recent stay in Beijing which was our very first trip to the city and as a such we wanted to be somewhere close to amenities/attractions and this property worked wonderfully for our needs.
  Note of caution however, if you're taking a taxi from the airport make sure you have the address in Mandarin as the driver we had spoke no English at all and luckily we had the phone number for the hotel so he called and got it sorted, although he seemed to take a bit of a longer route than what google maps showed...
  
  Upon arrival to the hotel we were greeted with the enormous lobby / atrium which is quite stunning and very welcoming after a long journey. Check in was quick and seamless with our preference of being away from the elevator in a non smoking room were accommodated and we were in the elevator on our way up to the 5th floor in no time. As has been noted in previous posts, the decor is dated and in need of a refresh but if your biggest complaint is about the paint and carpet than perhaps your focus on what's important in a hotel stay is missing the mark?
  
  Location of the property is, as has been said only a short walk from Tienanmen Square and the Forbidden City as well as the commercial area which is Wangfujing Street. There are numerous convenience stores (including 7 Eleven) within a couple minutes walking which were great for bottles of water (approx. 50 cents USD for 1.5L) especially when compared to the bottle offered in the room for over $8 USD!
  
  The only complaint i had with the room was the fact that the mini fridge in the room didn't get cold despite it being turned to the lowest setting, which in itself is a pretty minor issue to complain about which is why i didn't bother the front desk with it. The room was large and comfortable with more than enough space for two adults and the USB hub was excellent for charging our devices.
  
  Breakfast was included in our rate and there were no complaints with what was on offer in the Essence Restaurant downstairs either. Omelets made to order, plenty of fresh options from hot Asian entrees to fried eggs, sausage, bacon and of course plenty of fresh fruits and pastries.
  
  Should we return to Beijing in the future, this will be our preferred choice of hotels!
