  This is a hotel showing its age in worn-out carpets, loose bathroom fixtures and aging wallpapers. For a city where it's hard not to find excellent food and service the restaurants in the hotel are quite unremarkable and the breakfast while ok is crowded with one toaster and two coffee machines inadequate for the morning business rush hours. The internet is slow and unreliable. I wasn't able to have most of my web meetings. They charge ¥85/24 hours for this quality of Internet service. However when I complained they waived the charges. Having stayed in several local hotels, the best internet accesses are at the Four Seasons and the JW Marriott. The front desk is also under-staffed especially in the mornings and around noon which is the normal check-out time. The staff however are delightful, attentive and extremely polite. The tea garden is delightful with some excellent tea options. I have stayed here twice and I have been unable to get my SPG rewards because the booking was done by my company - a problem I don't have with any other loyalty programs.

  The hotel is a bit dated (actually I think that the structure was built in the early 80's. But, they have done decent maintenance and everything works good.
  On 17th floor there is the club lounge and on the top floor a good (expensive for chine standards) restaurant.
  The service is of high quality and the staff tries to be helpful.
  Good free wifi both in the rooms and the public areas.
  Location ok, not perfectly central, but good enough.
  My room 1303 is perfect, but a bit close to the elevator that ring every time they reach the floor, and it can be annoying.
  Coffee machine (american coffee And tea) in the room.
  Old cathode tube TV.

  The hotel has a slightly tired feel to it both inside and out.
  The room was a good size and clean.
  Breakfast offered a good variety but service was not overly attentive.
  This next point is not specific to this hotel, but a general issue with Sheraton. Their points system. Despite the fact you still pay on departure, if you have booked using a travel company, you cannot collect points for a stay.
  I would stay here again, but would try other hotels in the area first as there were many to choose from.

  Stayed 2 nights in this hotel.
  The food is excellent especially steak in the main lobby restaurant
  Room are spacious and immaculate - staff very helpful and friendly
  Bar prices can be a little costly.
  breakfast buffet menu is huge and nice ambience in a well alid out restaurant

  Stayed at this hotel in early Sept 2015 on a business trip. Had booked a junior suite but was lucky to be upgraded to a business suite. The suite had a separate living room and a bedroom. The bathroom was very small in the bedroom. The furniture was old and at places needs some refurbishment. The in room complimentary WIFI had ok speeds - could have been faster. The hotel is located quite centrally in Chaoyang district if your needs are arounds this area. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant on the ground in the busy hours is quite stressful - as he whole place is very crowded and i don't think there is a system by which the staff can ensure that once a table is allocated to you the same won't be occupied by someone else when you are at the buffet counter getting your food. However for suite guests breakfast is also possible in the lounge e (although did not try it) Overall a very aveage stay.
