• Great atmosphere and service

  The hotel staff were great - they helped us book taxis on numerous occasions and gave directions to the nearby shops and stations. The location of this hotel is also within barely a few minutes to huge shopping centers, the subway and a short ride away from tourist attractions. We booked a Great Wall tour through the hotel who used a third party tour company which was great, despite the shopping stops at the silk and jade factories (don’t buy anything from there) that we were warned about by the hotel.
  
  The rooms were cosy and modern - it’s definitely not as big as the pictures present it to be. The bathroom and walls did look a bit old and dirty around the corners but as a whole it did present quite well. The best part of the hotel in my opinion would be the lobby as it had a lounge, bar, noodle restaurant and pool table.
  
  The only negative experience we had was with the laundry as a t-shirt given to them with bad pasta sauce stains came back looking the same. No stain removers were used.

  I'd give the hotel a B- I live in China and have stayed in much nicer places. I think at almost $80 a night it's extremely overpriced. I know it's Beijing and in an amazing location but that's what you're paying for. I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

  Hotel located near a subway station and surrounded by a few malls.
  The housekeeping entered the room right after she knocked without double checking whether it was the proper time to interrupt, need to be improved.

• Good Budget Friendly Hotel

  Location is very convenient with the 5 and 2 metro lines literally around the corner (exit H). Took a minute to realize that the entrance to the hotel is on the other side of the building from where the large PentaHotel sign from the street by the metro entrance. The surrounding is a big mall with a Pizza Hut and KFC below the building so a very western feel. Clean rooms but the shower could use a real scrubbing. WiFi was decent but would be disconnected frequently. Fine hotel for a short stay.

  An OK hotel at an OK location in Beijing.
  A fancy digital check-in that the staff couldn't handle in a good way, but they are nice, polite and friendly.
  The wi-fi is bad and cuts off all the time.
