I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • Good location and Friendly hotel

Hotel has great location to visit Tiān'ānmén and WangPuJing street by walking. (Sadly Forbidden city is close from 8th Oct. for underconstruction inside, so I can't saw.)
Most of employs of front desk can speak english and they are kind and friendly.
When I leave to air port by taxi, they go the extra mile for me till riding taxi.
I think breakfast buffet is pretty good.
Inside facilities of room are old type but not bad.
Room is not very clean but no problems to short schedule.
I recommand here if you can booking under 100 USD for one night.

  • Great location but very dated

Brilliant location, close to walking street, good restaurants and the the forbidden city etc. Rooms and hotel however were a bit dated and the Air Con system is horrendous, has a mind of its own. Found the staff were good to deal with when required. Buffet breakfast was also quite good.

  • Great location

County Durham, United Kingdom | Sep 24, 2025 | Trip type: Business

Right in the centre of Beijing with easy access to everything you need as a tourist.
Rooms are well equipped (computer, wifi etc) generously sized and always kept spotlessly clean.
Staff are polite, friendly and helpful.
    Price is very economical.
Our stay here was very enjoyable and comfortable ~ I would certainly come again.

As has been mentioned before, this hotel is well located to explore Beijing. It is an easy walk to The Forbidden City, Wangfujing shopping area, Dengshikou underground/subway station and is on a main bus route. The staff are friendly, helpful and well informed (useful as the VJ parade was on). The food is varied and well cooked. This is my second stay at this hotel and definitely recommend it as a good, basic hotel.

  • Great place to stay in a good location.

This hotel has a rich history and was once communist party building, there's lots of info on one of the walls that tells you it's history.
Read the previous reviews before leaving mine and can't see what the issue was.
We found this hotel to be in a great location, taxi drivers weren't sure where it was sometimes but we stayed at the Tiran hotel 2 weeks earlier and they couldn't find that either. Think this is a taxi driver issue , you can't blame the hotel!
Location was why we chose it, if you leave the hotel by the main door turn right and right again walk all the way to the bottom of the hill you are at the forbidden palace and Tiananmen Square. Leave main entrance turn right and walk about 100 metres cross the road and on an evening you have dozens of food stalls selling deep fried Scorpion and may other weird and wonderful snacks!
We were room only but at £7.50 each for breakfast we went for it and really enjoyed it. Eggs cooked to order, yogurts bread for toasting, cold meats cheeses and plenty of Chinese options including yummy dumplings. The rooms were well appointed clean with free wifi and it was pretty quick as well. The beds were comfortable. There's free bottles of water every day. The rest of the minibar is over priced to be honest. We found reception staff fine, their English was ok and we managed fine.
Booked a trip to the Great Wall in the trips office opposite reception and can honestly say this was the highlight of our holiday. Amazing! Make sure you go. The hotel has a cash machine to the right of reception which we made full use of, saves you waving money around in public.the night before we left we booked a taxi to the airport which turned up in good time, he drove like a madman and got us there in 45mins! The roads were quiet though but you should plan for this, as when we arrived it was around 4pm and it took nearly 2 hours to get to the hotel.
Finally remember hotels in China always take a deposit even if you paid in advance and this hotel is no exception it is returned when you check out (in our case minus the 5 days breakfasts) would I go back to this hotel if I returned to Beijing? Yes without a second thought!
