  Right in the heart of Anshan City it's literally a one minute walk to the nearest shopping centre. And is situated next to a busy roundabout which is handy for taxis.
  The staff are very friendly and try there best to help, even the staff that don't speak English make a big effort.
  The rooms are basic but modern and clean, there's no bath just a shower and the beds are comfortable.
  The breakfast is reasonable although when there are lots of people staying you can find yourself waiting for a seat.
  For cheap rooms with breakfast I don't think you could go far wrong here.

  pretty much what we expected of Ibis, clean, quiet, middle of the road decor...very comfortable and decent service with staff that can speak a bit of english. located in the city centre it is above a shopping centre so easy access to things we needed like taxis, shops and Nandos(or Frangos as it is known there). All in all excellent, and we would stay there again definitely!

  centre of anshan, rooms are clean , there is AC, the main entrance is a bare lobby with 2 lifts to the reception/seating/breakfast area on the 8th floor. The bar is just some bottles of beer or soda sold over the counter. If you want cold beer or then ask for ice or ask for the beer to be put in the soda fridge for you. The breakfast is chinese, do not expect anything western except for toast/ jam and butter. The staff or very helpful and if you buy food out you can use the microwave and plates in the breakfast area.
  The room are on the floors above the 8th.
  Underneath the hotel is a big shopping centre with cinema and food place on the top floor. However this specialises in western goods which are very expensive in china. There is a supermarket in the basement which is top end with some imported food and drink.
  A better bet is the Pizza hut down 5 minutes walk away, there is a shopping complex in the building next to the PH, and this has a supermarket in the basement which is much more competitive than the other one.
  Starbucks has also recently opened under the hotel, they use brought in long life milk (to maintain quality), there are 2 others nearby and Macdonalds will shortly open 2 outlets nearby, after closing down several years ago due to lack of demand.
  chinese "couples" use the the place in the afternoons/night to get away from family eyes, so there it can be noisy if you are unluckly enough to have bad neighbours to your room.
  TV is all chinese except for 1 french channel which is a bit bizarre.

  We stayed at the Ibis in Anshan for 2 nights.
  Location - very good, central and with many nearby shops and restaurants. Starbucks less than 5 minutes walk away. Note lobby on the 8th floor, but Ibis signs visible at street level.
  Reception - very friendly and helpful staff with some English skills. Easy checkin and checkout.
  Room - standard for Ibis - super-clean, basic. No impressive views. Only 2 pillows on a double bed. LAN-cable internet worked fine. Kettle and tea but paper cups instead of mugs. No fridge. Unable to control the AC (again pre-set by the hotel). Note - the reception staff were kind enough to lend us a fan as the rooms were too warm.
  Breakfast - didn't try, many street options.
  Overall - basic, standard Ibis hotel room where you know what you are getting. Very good value for money if you are on a budget.

  The room was clean and quiet but the entry point is from ground floor and not go through Hotel main entry (8th Floor), personally I think it is no so safe. If the room can be brighter (more lamps) will be perfect.
